Hello HUKD people. New kid on the block here.

All the desired features on board: 12h battery, NEW atom processor, Windows 7, 250gb hdd, 3 x usb, etc
+ FREE DELIVERY
+ QUIDCO 3%
+ Dixons warranty
+ NO HASSLE WITH UNTRUSTED RETAILERS

bringing the actual price down to 280.12 DELIVERED!

Still a lot for netbook **BUT** if you are after a decent piece of technology charged with all the latest features, here you are. It is a mere 51 quid on top of the (now outdated) nc10 in Argos. Buy a new battery for your nc10 and you nearly matched this deal.

Recall that this is a brand new model with a RRP not to be lowered in the near future.

Full specs: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/pc-peripherals/notebook-computers/n-series/NP-N220-JA01UK/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=features

NOTE: this is the only N220 deal in HUKD as of now.

apparently quidco tracks at full amount i.e. 9.73 so the actual cost is below 280 at 279.06

personally I will never buy another product from Dixons / PC World / Currys. they are awful and have let me down and messed me about way too many times with their crappy service.

oh and a Dixons warranty counts for nothing... even if you buy their coverplan - it still doesnt cover you 1/2 the time.

might be.

but it cant be worse than a b-graded netbook or other merchants e.g. pixmania. also, price not far from nc10; you end up with a brand new model after all with really good specs!

Might be a good battery ....

1Gb memory just isn't enough
Windows 7 Starter - make sure you understand this does what you need before you buy. It is a drastically cut down version.

Not for me.

After a crazy search through all netbook reviews i decided on this model and im super happy with it! I paid £309 with free postage through JR Linton but they offered 2 years warrenty instead of the standard 1 year. Either way it is a great netbook!

Paid around this for my NC10 about a year and 2 months ago, so seems a good deal with the larger hard drive and longer battery life. Having said that, the build quality on the NC10 was poor - mine now smells of burning plastic when its on and the power socket is broken. My girlfriend also purchased one a few months later and 2 keys on the keyboard have already fallen off - no idea why, just came off whilst typing!

As for Dixons being reliable - they took the money TWICE for my NC10, blocking my whole account and card - had to phone the bank to find out what on earth was happening who fortunately removed the transaction without any fuss.

Good deal. I just ordered the N140 from Ebuyer for £240. Not much difference but this is a new processor, bigger HDD and Windows 7 instead of XP. ******!

See the whole picture on your netbook with our Easy Resolution Manager. If your program or game supports a higher resolution you can easily upgrade to 1024 x 768 to see more details, crisper imager and bolder colours.

From the samsung site - what do they mean by upgrade?

Shame about the low screen resolution and Windows 7 Starter OS. That kills it for me.
