Try Google.
#5
Its coming up £315 are you sure its £197?
#6
yep instore price down from £279 to £197
#7
This seems a decent spec for 197 quid... am thinking of buying a basic netbook for my 13 yr / 9 yr old cousins who just surf the net and play simple flash-based games.... would this be the best deal around?
#8
i phoned the store, they said they had none in stock, I asked that they double check etc...answer was definitely none in stock ! I also phoned Queensferry, and Chester, Broughton, all said none in stock. The lady at Ellesmere Port said they were expecting them in later in the week. (which is good news). One query - how do you know it's a 6 cell. Thanks in anticipation.
#9
I am working today at the ellesmere port asda and they have over 8 in stock!!!(on display)
#10
Can't locate any in the Newcastle area, have phoned around the stores :(
#11
As you say - went over tothe Ellesmere Port store and GOT ONE. So, thanks for that. Also actually went into other stroes locally but none in. (Queensferry had one in an open box with bits missing).

I bought the Samsung NC10 over a year ago for £300, and the wife has recently got a dell netbook.
The samsung IMHO is a far far better netbook that the wifes dell.
#13
I have the n140 great netbook
but be warned it has the same finish as a ps3 fat

i covered the top of mine with vinyl
#14
Love my NC10 - top machine! Incredible offer - get one now.
#15

hi anyone in north london... none inSouthgate, Colindale, Watford, Wembley, or Park royal stores
#17
Amazing Deal, I love my NC10 and it's only a 3 cell, build quality is brilliant and loads of short cut keys that are really easy and quick to pick up. Bargain at this price!
#18
Epic deal, I'd go for it if I didn't get a EEEPC 1001HA for the same price from the PC World deal a couple weeks ago
#19
soooo tempted... especially if can get it from Asda home and get my extra 5% off... dammit do i NEED a netbook?!
#20
My missus got one the weekend for uni, cant fault it, except its a netbook and my club hands suck on the trackpad lol
#21
sainsbury in salisbury have it for £179
#22

I gave up ever ringing an Asda store because the replies were
usually inaccurate.

5.32pm See post re this Samsung at Sainsburys
#27
I got one from the argos e bay outlet last week for £165 reconditioned, but with a full 12 months guarantee, only difference was i got a 3 cell battery, so this is a cracking deal if you can get it.
#28
Awesome deal for a 6 cell samsung! There's always a better deal round the corner as I got an Asus a couple of weeks back. Surely I don't need another??
#29
If anyone manages to get one of these from asda ellesmere port, and wants to upgrade to 2gb RAM.
There is a toshiba retail outlet on cheshire oaks selling 2GB DDR2 667Mhz for £18 a stick. The modules are actually made by samsung and work great in the NC10!
#30
I would think they have stopped manufacturing the NC10 by now, it must be 18m-2yrs old. There will probably be a lot of deals on this particular model until stock has been cleared, hence the supermarkets.
#31
See post at 5.32pm for Sainsburys.
Even cheaper.
#32
none near portsmouth,
#33
I am in asda ellesmere port now and they have one left - it is in pink though! bought a toshiba nb200 for $177 instead. anyone any comments on this machine? bargain at 177? the assistant said they have a fewof these left in stock.
#34
The Pink ones were scanning at £275, only the black ones were at the lower £197 price.
#35
A great net book
I used one as my main machine for a year, (much better than previous Celeron i had) - now used as a back up machine and great if needed for travelling etc.
I found with things like Iplayer / youtube if could be very smooth when i got it, but stuttery when hard drive fills up after a few months though.
To anyone who has upgraded the memory, did it improve the video noticeably ?
Also wheres the cheapest 2gb modules from major stores / sites ?
Also a tip for music lovers. The initial set up has reasonable volume, but go into the graphic equalizer and you can pump up the sound quite a lot. I didnt realise this until i found this tip on Hotukdeals.
#36
great little macine I'm using it now
