Go easy on me, this is my 1st post.

There's a deal on Carphone Warehouse for Samsung Note 7 on Vodafone for £42 per month + £59 upfront (6gb data, unlimited mins & texts) + free gear vr. Quidco are giving £80 cashback for Note 7 purchases from Carphone Warehouse, I told this to Carphone Warehouse on the phone and they agreed to match the price, I.e. Free handset + £21 immediate cashback.

No need to wait a few months until Quidco process the cashback claim.

P.S. I've been hearing that people who have asked CPW have not been given this deal. You need to ask to speak to the 'customer value team', they should be able to honour it.

Not a bad price to be honest. Its a good deal for this phone at least, especially seeing as it's just come out.

So you got the Note 7 for £42 a month? Did this also come with the VR headset? If so this seems like a good deal!

If it's on contract then I think you can cancel it within 14 days.

Only if it's bought online or via the phone, it's called distance selling regulations, which unfortunately don't apply if you've bought it in a shop

you can return it within 14 days usually, o2 are OK with it, with ee you just have to say the signal isn't the best and they'll let you.. it's in black&white on their websites
you'll have to check with 3 & voda ;)

Isn't £42 per month over £1000 over two years?

Doesn't seem great - maybe I'm missing something...

I bought it from a third party seller online. Never sent back a phone before. Its with EE though. Il check the terms

1008 over the 2 years
The Sim Free price on CPW is 699 for the phone
Taking that all in to account its about 12.50-13.00 a month for just the sim.
You're also getting the VR for "free".

It seems okay. Just rather unsure of it being that pricey for the phone, as good as it may be.

Looks good the note 7. Rumours said the screen was going to be too big, no removable battery, lower spec camera, all putting me off, but rumours were wrong. Looks a great phone.

distance selling regulations haven't applied since 2014. store and online purchased contracts are eligible for the 14 days

if it's bought online you're covered by distance selling regs, so you'll be ok

It's actually £987 if you include the £20 cashback. This is the cheapest deal you can get at the moment with 6gb on a note 7. I've not seen any others for under £1000.

Tell them that you've seen that you can get £80 cashback on Quidco, they should try to match it like they did with me

Sometimes it just a matter of luck if who you speak to, if they say no, try call again and speak to someone else

Just called CPW told them that a mate of mine wanted the same deal, they told me to tell them to ask for the 'customer value team' and they'll give them the same deal

I would be tempted to go back instore with your new phone and inform them of the sale they missed out on. They have targets to meet. Some staff are arsey.

You'd really do that? Some customers are arsey too, it would seem.

Anyone with Friends and family discount on EE can have it ported to their new upgrade. Managed to get the note 7 £46pm 20GB data and the handset for free
#27
Just spoke to the "customer value team" and they gave me the same offer with ease - thanks OP! :D

Got this deal after speaking with the Customer Value Team. Have some :D op!

Maybe I'm expecting too much from being on here so long but I remember getting the note 4 almost 2 years ago on the day it came out with 02 for £28 + 70 cashback(which paid out). Granted it was only 1g data but unlimited calls and text. Impossible to expect similar deals with this phone?

Everyone always goes on about removable battery? It has fast charging which is even better! Will go to about 60% in less than half an hour
No need to carry spare battery or change

No, it's 30 days with Vodafone, even if you change your mind:
