This seems like very good price, samsung is not a brand that is well known in the DSLR market this item sells on the fact it is very cheap.

Excellent price. Heat from me!

It hasn't got a viewfinder.

I can't stand trying to look at an lcd screen in sunlight.

From reading reviews, If you can live with mostly using a touch screen to compose and control the camera, this sounds like a whole lot of camera for the money, good image quality.

This is not a DSLR but a compact system camera

it's a very pretty little camera with it seems lightroom 4. if this camera has a drawback it is the lack of image stabilisation, the lens does not show OIS. every other thing though is delightful a bit like a slghtly tipsy friend.

I thought the same, but took a similar camera to Cuba and never had any problems, the screens are so bright these days that it isn't such an issue now.

Not a big fan of the Samsung NX series here. To get quality pictures you need to invest in glass and Samsung lenses aren't that great.

IMO for the same price range go with an Olympus PEN or the Panasonic G5 (£199).

What are you on about? The lenses have the highest average ratings of ANY CSC manufacturer, AND the lowest prices. What more do you want?

You know that DxO ratings aren't everything when it comes to lenses, right?
For prices take the 60mm for example, the Olympus one is cheaper same with the Tamron for Nikon/Canon, the Fuji is a tad more expensive. Canonikon are around the same price. The Samyang for NX are more expensive, as they don't sell.
The only interesting lens is the Samsung NX 16-50mm F2.0-2.8 S ED OIS, which costs more than the (albeit a bit slower) Fuji equivalent and as much as the Olympus/Panasonic f/2.8 zooms.
Limited 3rd party lenses, plus a weak first party lens roadmap is a no go for me. Don't forget Samsung is an electronics company, they will prefer to release bodies especially for the low-end market over lenses.
