Anyone considering a tablet. please do read this

* These are really 1st gen devices and there will be better devices this year including dual boot win7 /your choice of tablet os.

* Honeycomb and meego are the only two os's that are optimised for tablets.

* Tablets themselves are a crossover device, they don't replace a desktop, laptop, or phone but sits between a lappy and a phone and desktop.

I would rather buy the £799 refurbished one for sale from a MArketplace seller, lol! Good luck to him!

How does it differ to this one for sale from Amazon for £670?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab/dp/B0041RSF6Y/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

I would like a pad device for on the train, in bed etc but if it is 7" it needs a bag to carry it and if I am taking a bag to carry it I may as well get a 10" with a bit more screen real estate.

I agree with the other poster that it is worth waiting till later in the year for iPad2 and Android Honeycomb 3.0 as this will make the market much more competitive.

Better deal with the freebies plus any probs you can take it to your local PC world, oh and cheaper with quidco.

Decent price for the second best tablet on the market at the moment (don't hate me cos I'm a fruit lover).
Buyers might also want to wait until after 17 Feb. Samsung will be announcing new dual core phones and tablets at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona - so these might come down even more.

You would be suprised what people buy, I often sell items at 2 to 4 times the price Amazon are when its in stock aswell!!.
I have no idea why, but I dont complain :-)
I recently sold a friends box set for £120 with nearly 20 sellers at half that price or less, lol.oO

iPad and advent vega are better IMO for different reasons and different price points. The screen it too small on this imo it's a nice little device though

I have brought one for about this price and sold my IPAD (not used too big and restrictive) if you wait for the next thing to come along you will never buy anything and the price will be close to £450 plus I live to enjoy stuff now not wait and wait, when the next thing comes out I will buy that as well and sell the Tab I am loving the tab (but I like android having a nexus one as well) so if you want one go and get it because if you wait for the next thing to come out you won't be enjoying it now will you

Are the comma and full-stop buttons faulty on your Tab? Oh well, at least the shift button is still working.
