Fabulous monitor, I have one and bought another from ebuyer when at £175. Haven't set it up yet though because of moving, so kinda wish I'd waited. Beautiful picture though.

I bought one of these a while back and ended up selling it. It's a great monitor for general stuff and I'm sure most people will be really happy with it as the colours are good (once you tweak the factory settings) and the contrast it also good. Nice that it's also got DVI, HDMI and D-Sub input.

The reason I sold it was that I'm a designer and the the colour shift on the panel when viewing from different angles was just way too much. I've now gone for a HP LP2475W IPS monitor which was over double the price - so you get what you pay for

Usng this now and its well worth the cash. Great monitor and looks the business aswell.

PS what greencode said about the colours... i came from a Samsung wide colour gamut to this and yes i did notice the difference. But tbh after a few hours use the colours are very vivid and vibrant and now it just 'looks normal'.

Go for it !

It really depends on what you use it for. As I do a lot of close up work you really notice a colour shift to the point where you can't tell what the correct colour shade actually is. To be honest I doubt if most people would be using it for design and suchlike so it really is a great monitor for everyday stuff. I just wanted to make the point though just in case there were any other designers looking at it.

Bought this for £190, great monitor. There are heavy bleeds around the screen though.

A quick comparison chart: http://www.all-monitors.com/compares/dell_st2410_vs_samsung_syncmaster_p2450h

Also, from memory, the Dell monitor doesn't have a VESA mount i.e. it's not wall or arm mountable (I have an arm so needed it to be mountable)

Well spotted, thanks. I've been trying to decide between this monitor and the BenQ G2420HDBL for a few days. The Samsung has been around £20 more at Amazon, so I'd more or less decided on the BenQ. Soon as I turn my back Amazon lower the price....... H & R added.

Not bad for a 24inch Samsung, been looking at monitors of this size, off and on, for a few months now and i don't think there are too many samsungs with 2ms response time and an hdmi port for this price, good find, heat added.

P.s I have also decided to go with the BenQ over this monitor

Awesome monitor, especially for gaming. Such a huge difference between 2ms and 5ms.

I've actually decided on the Samsung in the end. Nothing between them really, but prefer Amazon for the customer service in the event of a problem.
