nope its red as well lol look at very thin bar at bottom of screen...........thats what makes it red :)

I have one of these. Excellent monitor. "Rose Red" refers to a tint around the outside.
#5
I have one of these, mine switches itself on for some reason.

its not red its a black monitor with a very subtle red tint glow along the bottom ..... very good ,monitor and had mine about a year . thoroughly recommended.

I've got two, paid similar price (£175) each, absolutely brilliant.

I have this monitor, It's great but on my xbox 360 it looks a bit weird. If anyone who has this monitor could pm me the settings they use i use be very grateful

Ebuyer are doing a Samsung 23" for £130, maybe not 2ms but like that makes any difference anyway.
#11
I have 6 of these and they are awesome. Best monitors I have ever had!
#12
Just put resolution to the highest an depending on what game you are playing you may have to play with the vertical an horizontal safe areas (in game settings) call of duty has them
#13
think i will try one

I have been considering investing in a new monitor.
You may like to consider (if response time is not your God) :

Iiyama ProLite 24" E2472HD-1 LED Monitor

BenQ G2420HDBL Widescreen LED Monitor

I am looking for a monitor with the emphasis on image quality rather than from a gaming perspective.
The reviews on both these seem good, these are the best prices that I have found after a couple of days research - still cant decide which I prefer though!

Dvdvicar, try the BenQ EW2420, its a VA panel and much better than TN panel for non gaming stuff... goes for around £175.

As for this monitor, its about 2 years old ald have been this price for those 2 years...

Bought 2 of these recently for builds I was doing for friends. They are very good monitors, not much in it between these and the cheap Benq LEDs imo. No hight adjustment, pivot only, to be expected in this price range.

As already stated though, price here is nothing special and can be had cheaper if you shop around - picked the last one up for a fraction over £150 (OcUK TWO in conjunction with their 5% off on Christmas Day).

Why is this so hot ?; it's not a IPS panel.....

Thanks - any advice gratefully received. However, BenQ EW2420 gets some very dubious reviews, also, doesnt appear to be in stock anywhere.

yes; as one other poster has said the BenQ EW2420 is aorund £175 and Dell sometimes do an offer on their 23" ultrasharp that is around £200... there is also a viewsonic around £200...

because the cheapest decent IPS is the £240 dell ? the Ben q is a VA panel and suffers from bad response times

I've had one of these for a while and it's great for playing games or watching movies.

However, it's TOO bright for normal internet use / reading documents -even on the lowest settings.
Depending on how you intend to use it, that might be an issue.

I Currently use the Samsung P2450H as a desktop screen and to play Xbox and i must say that i am really Happy with the screen there is very little colour distortion when viewing from an angle wide than 170 although it is a TN panel
