Good price for this TV.
Lots of other things up to half price today (Monday) only at Play apparently.
Nice find and welcome to HUKD

One of the comments at play.com says that it doesn't have holes to fit it to a wall bracket.

I'll wait until I see a good freview one on offer, I want it for the bedroom and don't want any extra boxes hanging off it. A good deal for anyone who doesn't need FV.

Great price........ am undecided at the mo as I needed one with freeview, but at this price my common sense is tellin' me to go for it and buy a separate freeview box..........:thinking:

Voted hot....... h/r left...........

good find... i am in same boat, i would prefer one with free view and DVD player.
it is fine to buy separate free view bod and DVD player but having all these extra power supply and messy cable view put me off... i will wait for one with f/view and DVD player..
good deal never the less!!

Still cheaper at Argos with the 10% discount and free delivery as per this thread:

Please note, this is not wall-mountable.

You're right, its on their website.

good deal, but already posted!

Looks like a good deal, but the offer coming up at Aldi is far more suitable for my needs! Thanks for the head up!

Do not think Samsung do a 19" with Freeview and DVD. Chances are the ALDI one will be a poor brand and nowhere near the picture quality of the Samsung

No it's not true.

ANY telly work work after the switchover if you simply plug in a Freeview box. They start from around £10.

What do you think the deals will be like in the January sales??????????

Aldi was last Thursday, you might find some still in store however i think it was quite popular.

This is primarily a monitor with lcd capabilities.

Its a common trick which argos also use, classing monitors as lcd.

All samsung actual lcd start with the letter LE

Thanks for reminder < agnostic >

I doubt there are any 19"lcd left at aldi.If there were id be buying another one.very impressed with it freeview on it is far superior picture quality than my samsung 26" and 46"
#20
Don't underestimate these TVs from Aldi: outstanding picture quality [better than my Samsung], easy to use and come with a 3 year parts and labour warranty.
#21
Seems a good price but available for same price at Amazon - useful for anyone who wants one if Play put the price up after "Mega Monday"

ugh, I just bought one of these for my girlfriend. Is a monitor with LCD cababilities worse than just a normal LCD ?
