That's just a monitor and not a TV though

yeah this is a very different beast - has tv tuner and scart, hdmi etc - all the connectivity you would expect from a TV. And this is a v good price I got my brother one with some deal and I was chuffed with ~220 quid. He is very pleased with it - it looks as good switched off as it does on apparently !
#4
Does this have a digital tuner built in or analogue?
#5
analogue only. . .

Thanks homer_213 :)

I've updated your title to include a price

Thanks OP, have ordered this for the bedroom.

This has a different resolution/aspect ratio to typical HDTVs. Does anyone know if it stretches the picture or if it places black bars on the top and bottom when viewing an HDTV source?

Although the specs say it does:
Analogue, Digital, HDMI, DVI, SCART, TV Tuner, Speakers, Remote

This doesnt have digital - possible compensation from eBuyer?!

I bought the 23" Samsung for my own bedroom earlier in the year and it's probably one of my best purchases of 2007, I love it to bits.

Yeh ive got the 23" LE23R71BDX I think. Its a fantastic TV!

Yeah that's the same one I have, the only issue I suppose that some people may have it is that it doesn't have a built in digital tuner.
#14
analogue digital will be referring inputs which it lists afterwards - having vga and dvi connectors it is analogue and digital. Compensation not a chance. At this price though get youself a cheap digi box and still got a decent tv/monitor for ~200 quid.

For another 25 quid you could get the 20" http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132112. After all we'd all like an extra inch now wouldn't we fella's:whistling:

Dare say the women wouldn't mind either:w00t:

how does this compare to http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125735 Lg 22" ?
#17
there's no HDMI on the LG, so it depends on what you need really, it works out £30 more for extra 3"

I had a Samsung P28 laptop and it worked just 2 years and apparently had a common fault with one of the ic's on the motherboard living just two years, but samsung never admit the problem. have sweared since then never to buy a samsung product in my life, looks like a nice model though.:x
