An offer much better suited to texters than callers - unlimited texts, but only 50 minutes per month.

But, if you text more than talk, this is a really cracking deal for a very high spec. phone, which, although it has been out for over a year now, is still comparable to the best mobiles currently available (IMO). The only major feature lacking is WiFi, but it has 3G a super high performance 8Mp camera and numerous other features.

Factor in the free 8GB micro sd memory card and the £25 HMV voucher and I reckon this is a real bargain.

Also, don't forget £50 Quidco or TopCashBack.

Quidco cashback £50, not to be sniffed at!

190 for 24 months and a top 8mp phone, hot

Never heard of the phone but doing a quick search it's available for £169.99 refurb from Bargain Crazy. Elsewhere you're looking at £200+ new so if this is the one you're after then this is a HOT deal for you. It's basically like buying it on HP but without the interest! You could even stick a Simplicity sim in it for more minutes and discard the one it comes with.

I can't do without my wifi, so unless the tarrif comes with included 3g then its not for me, but not a bad price overall. Can't complain at the price or the phone,

You cant discard the sim card it came with as thats part of the contract, if you chose to put in a simplicity sim instead, you'd still have to pay £10 a month for this, plus payment for the simplicity contract.
#7
Don't think he was suggesting that discarding the sim would get you out of the contract. Rather that given the total price and the fact of voucher and cashback it works out a cheaper way to buy the phone even if you won't use the tariff.
#8
Don't forget there is also the free 8GB memory card included, which is worth something like £15. So if Quidco pays out then £50 for Quidco + £25 HMV voucher + £15 memory card = £150 for the phone and 24 month contract. Ok 50 minutes talk time is not great and you have to pay extra for internet, but the phone is worth over £150 by itself.

I have this phone... highly recommend.

You can get the £7.50 bolt on, but then the deal doesn't seem quite so glorious... For those with other means - or indeed lack of need - this is a stormer!

Got this phone as an upgrade late 2008 and I have to say I cannot wait until I can upgrade again in 5 weeks time.
Hated it that much that I went out and a bought a SE W995 after 7 or 8 months.
Unfortunately I dropped the SE in a cup of tea and its cream crackered so now I'm back using the Pixon arghhhhh!!!!

Don't get me wrong it does have some decent points to it. Touch screen is really responsive and probably the best thing about the phone. Internet is also really quick and makes up for no wifi, but I've hated using it for 10 months never mind 24.

50 mins per month + 24 month contract!

Sorry but cold from me regardless of what the phone is worth, 30 day rolling simplicity deals are far better imo.

Having read reviews, it seems a bit of a Marmite phone, love it or hate it. Sound like a really good camera/mp3 player, but maybe limited as a phone (which is surely it's first objective!)

had mine since launch, dont see how its limited as a phone tbh, works fine for me, battery life isnt great though admittedly

another thing people forget about this phone, its got inbuilt DivX so any downloads play nicely on it.

I love this phone, unfortunately I lost mine to a cup of coffee.
Im currently £25 a month for it on Orange for 600 mins/unlimited texts and struggle to use mins even with people phoming and hanging up for me to call them back.
Im tempted to get this.
I have a couple of months left on my orange contract though, would my orange sim work in this?
Im currently using my orange sim on a vodafone nokia 6303 and I can call and text but cant go online?

I have this phone and loath it with a passion, the software is awful and the touch screen is not responsive enough, the camera is good the rest of the phone just does not work for me.

It is not limited as a phone just not intuitive enough for me, one month left of it on contract then it is gone.

You can put google maps on it and as stated Divx playback is built in and works well but that is its only plus point from me.

Not voted hot or cold, but would recommend anyone to try the phone first.

I Have this phone and its got a good camera but the phone is rubbish,
Its hard work trying to do anything on this phone.
Can't wait for the contract to finish I had 18 months and I wouldn't want to be stuck with the phone for 2 years.
Sorry for the bad comments but I just thought you should know.
#22
If you want payg the orange clearence shop in Norwich are selling these for £99
#23
Cant see this phone on the e2save webite?

Im looking for a phone to surf the web and with a good camera, any idea on good offers?
#24
Don't lock yourselves into long 2 year contracts! Mobile contracts are set to become cheaper so the networks are doing well by locking in customers to long term contracts now. You WILL regret it....all for a supposedly cheap mobile!! I guess this is still a good deal, because the total contract is cheaper than buying offline but still a warning about 24 month contracts!

Callers to UK mobile phones could see cheaper bills from 2011 under plans announced by telecoms regulator Ofcom.

It has proposed cutting the cost mobile phone firms can charge for connecting a call from another network from 4.3 pence per minute to 0.5p by 2015.

Also the unlimited texts and this is a real bargain for £10/month. Heat and rep

ps Just looked at the site, and its only a 1GB SD card. Have they changed it??? Or do I need to ring?
