Great tv Great price, Grab them while you can as I have a feeling they will sell very quickly if the comet I work in is anything to go by!!!!!!!!

And just so you are all aware comet do a 14 day price promise (find the exact same product within a 10 mile radius from your store and they have it in stock they will refund you the difference) always good to know (that even includes comet themselves)

Usual samsung spec 100Hz, 3 HDMI, 2 Scarts, DNIe, loads of other connections as well as the quality name of samsung

Hope you enjoy your new tele ;)

You mean not Full HD ? 1024 x 768 is HD. just not 1080p. Won't get a samsung full HD near this price. This is a nice TV for the money IMO.

In my eyes 1080p at the moment is only any good if you are going to link up a PS3 or Blu ray player as everything else I beleive is in 1080i (even digital tv subscribers (i.e sky virgin + etc...)
Unless you have a good trained eye the difference is minimal

DON'T BUY THE COMET WARRANTIES IF YOU WERE GOING TO.

You can get them online for as little as £55 with ALLIANZ thru Amazon, depending on the size of TV.

Remember these TV's can invariably not be repaired, unlike the old ones.

Fantastic deal by the way. Heat added.

I strongly disagre with that and I think if you probably compared warranties comets would probably come out on top they usually do. Plus due to the price of the TV now the full 5 years (1 + 4) is only a tiny £159.99 and that can also be split into 4 payments (1 after 30 days then once every 3 months for 3 more payments)
It only would work out at £2.66 per month to make sure you have a 42" plasma tv for a full 5 years from date of purchase!!!!!!!!
Also whats to say if it still working in about 4 years that it may get knocked off stand and have to be replaced under the accident part of the cover???? ;)

P.S. thanks for the heat tho :)

Typical Comet salesman patter £160 is only tiny eh its 33% of the cost of the TV quite a premium to pay , dosent house insurance cover you for accidental damage nowadays

John Lewis is a better deal as its £160 cheaper when you consider the included 5yr warranty
