Added price and retailer name to thread title, linked to £20 off voucher, and added brief spec. Please see the links in my sig for help on posting good deals :)

P.S. I know it was your first one, but the sig links should help :) Welcome to HUKD.

i posted the identicle currys q96 samsung ( about 2 weeks ago )which was only £659 with the £60 aug60 promo code. so this is £40 dearer but at £699 its still worth every penny as ive had mine 2 weeks now and its absolutely awesome . this is one sexy plasma !
was free delivery too !

4% quidco too I believe do another £28 off. Delivery is £4.95 so £720 - £20 - £28 + £5 = total to pay of £677

a pretty good deal.

i have searched for a week for the best deal on this tv and have found that dixons is the best as they only charge £70 for the black glass stand which goes nice with the tv.ok you can get the tv for a little less from a lot of online dealers but they charge around a hundred pounds and more in most cases for the glass stand.so if you apply the discount vouchers still around at the moment ( i used 2 )you can get the tv and glass serano stand delivered for £755.97.
dont waste your time going to a currys or comet for a price match deal they are not interested.

Absolutely correct. I viewed this TV in the flesh (and liked it) and was assured of a price match with any web retailer at Currys in Dundee, but when I took in the details of the Dixons deal (yeah - part of the same company group!) - the manager refused to price match - citing the tiny margin he would make on the TV to not make it worth his while. Would only price match to the Currys online price (over £80 more) or do a deal with a glass stand to bump up the profit for his store.

Not interested in offsetting any cashbacks (quidco) either.

As you will have guessed, I've just bought online :)

My deal - £676.26, Currys instore price - £949.99. I had a laugh with the salesman at the price differential - he could quite understand my decision.

I also bought this telly for the £659 Currys price a few weeks back, and it is definitely worth every penny, even at £699. If anyone misses out on this new price through Dixons, I'm willing to bet it'll then be Currys turn to drop their price again.
