This is cheap everywhere, largely due to it's very high power consumption compared with other similar sized TV's. It's 450W which is almost double most of it's competitors. It's so high that most retailers don't list this in the spec. The latest Samsung 52" plasma uses less than half this power.

If this isn't an issue then it's a bargain at the moment, but for me this rules it out. Might reduce the need for a radiator in the room, though....................

All dealers keep dropping their prices for a few hours then sticking them up again!!
You have to be quick to take advantage...!!
All Plasma's use around 300 to 400 watts... not a lot to choose between them really in my opinion.
You sure can feel the heat from the screen when they have been on for an hour or so!!!
Roll on the new LED generation TV that should hit this country in a few months!!
Should be a lot cheaper to run and not so heavy.

Mine arrived last week and it's been left on all day to get some hours under its belt. I've just put my hand within an inch of the screen and can feel no heat whatsoever.

Are we talking about his deal? I noticed that the TV is now £699 odd now so expired. :-D
