The same model was £699 with a 5 year guarantee from John Lewis a few days back so this is a little expensive, I'm afraid.

This was only £699.99 a week ago @ Dixons/PC World! http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/304137/samsung-ps50a556-50-plasma-699-pcwo/ Cold.

this was 620 quid on christmas day with discount code
#4
Have you tried Pixmania? £699 or £674 with code Pixsales0925
#5
this has been as low as £649 over the last few days
#6
this was a 720 @ £699 however the one at £849 is 1080p which is a higher spec?

Does it really matter how much it was? Bread & milk used to cost pennies - but we can't go back (unless you have a DeLorean?).
What matters is how much it is now, surely?

Disagree on this occasion, this tv has been £200 cheaper at several places in the last few days, and are likely to again. Retailers are falling over backwards with tv reductions at the moment so this deal is cold. Someone has already pointed out it's only £699 @ Pixmania anyway.

That was me!

You're entitled to disagree - it just seems a silly argument to say something is cold right now because it was cheaper yesterday. Should be voting on right now... so cold cos its cheaper at Pixmania is ok by me!!! Cold because it will get cheaper is almost acceptable too - as long as you factor in the risk of there being no more stock.

Hmmm... I have this link from the comparison site I use.

I think it is an affiliate link, so I'm not suggesting anyone use it to buy the item... but it has them at £699. But I can't seem to find it on the Comet site itself?!?
BTW, I do not benefit from you using this link in any way.

I have posted the comparison site before now, but it was deleted and I was accused of trying to make money from it!!

i would love this tv . I missed it from john lewis and Dixons....just checked out Pixmania but the reviews for their customer service are soooo bad.....
i am just going to keep watching on here for another deal........

Really Really fancied one of these Samsung 50 inch plasma's too..

Did a little searching and found Pixmania's site with the £674 price.! though Brilliant I'm jumping on that..
Went through all the order process etc.. was just about to seal the deal by filling in my credit card details..

But thought I'd research them a little before i clicked to buy..?

Seems their customer service is crapola..???

After thinking about it a little more.. decided the High street option is the best..
Should something that size cr4p out on me.. the cost and hassle of sending it back would be just too much..

So still looking for the ultimate 50" TV deal..

Glad i found this site.. it's now bookmarked..
