Wow...great deal if you can find something else to buy for £130.

Similar strategy can be applied for the Toshiba 42XV635DB 42" Full 1080P HD Digital LCD to match the deal originally posted by Domislice.
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/492221/toshiba-42xv635db-42-full-hd-1080p-/

Now,
£749.99 + £11 (delivery) - 20% Credit (£150) - Quidco (£37.5) - Toshiba cashback (£100) = £473.5

A little tricky and troublesome but nevertheless a good price for someone who miss the previous deal.

EDIT: I think the 42XV635DB can be obtained at £479 in the more straight forward manner via Dixons / Toshiba cashback.

Can't see where to add the discount voucher... does it have to be 'given' to you by CDiscount?
#11
Great find,well spotted,just ordered one.

I bought my 50' on the Bennetts deal a month or 2 ago and have no complaints about the telly at all. The sound is a bit.... funny. I find it hard to hear speech but everything else is too loud. I have changed all sorts of audio settings and not managed to fix it but the rest of the telly is spot on.

Mine is a 5-Series, I think the one in this deal might be a 4-Series. I'm not really sure what the differences are but it seems the higher the number the more expensive the TV. So beware and check on the Samsung site what series this is and if it has enough ports for your needs.

only takes off £3.99 at checkout. Any ideas?

You pay full price less free delivery. The discount comes in the form of an account credit, which you can use to buy something else.

Make sure you geta good sound system to go with this tv, the sound on it is poor , distorts quite a lot, otherwise a great set

whoops just had to go that little bit further to check out...
However looks like they have taken off the octoberfest code as it now only offers £3.99 dscount =(

This is normal. The code entitles you to £3.99 discount on delivery charge (hence the £11 you need to pay for heavy item) and 20% account credit.

I'm about to order, but where is the 20% account credit?

Awful company, couldn't ever get my account credit to work and then it expired before 30 days were up. Indeed they expired it after 677 hours by claiming it was issued at 12pm (actually they sent email at 3pm) and so expired 30 days after issue at 12pm BUT NO WHERE DID IT STATE THIS and like I said I kept getting "voucher is just in use" because their faulty payment system often rejects legitimate card details. (They don't have RBS secure code so if you have an online credit card password it just won't work - at least they don't went you are also trying to use a voucher it seems ;)).

The code also isnt generated for 30 days after you place the order. They're obviously banking on most people not being able to ever use it (and theres a heap of junk on their site anyway) before the time is up a bit like the mobile phone cash back scam. Even without the credit, their TVs are tremendously over priced so don't be fooled by this cheap French gimmicks.

Also had problems returning goods - the courier told me they didn't like it and basically wouldn't let me reject the order - he said cdiscount would just keep bringing in back each day. Basically it's one hell of a hassle to cancel and don't listen to them when they say they will try and cancel the order before dispatch.

That order I tried to cancel prior to dispatch in line with section 10.1 of their terms and conditions,.says you can cancel any time up until dispatch by pressing a button on this website, but said button doesn't appear until they dispatch. Moral of the story if it looks too good to be true then it is. Other people have got solicitors letters when paying in the 3 payment method.

I ordered a tv on sunday after seeing this thread and its also not moved off of confirmation. Emailed customer services but just got stock response of "deliveries usually take 3-5 days" even though I asked when my delivery may be sent.

First time ordered with cdiscount, PM sent.

cdiscount - any update on the order??????
#27
Okay everyone, prepare for a long wait. Message I got was that original supplier could not fulfill orders so they are trying to source from elsewhere.

If you cant wait you may as well cancel.
#28
been told that it was this week originally but now it has changed to next week
#29
Okay

Now telephoned twice over the last week to cancel my order but still showing as a valid order in my account area with no refund. Getting a bit hacked off with Cdsicount:viking:
