was going to put on a few days ago, seems a very good price for a 3d tv, only downside is it has no 1080p, but £560 for a 50inch with 3D can't be bad, what you think? Comet have this on at £649.99

Its ok for the price, but its last years series 4 and only 720p. Might be a problem on a 50" screen.

From the one review on amazon, the buyer says "so what if its only 720p the picture on this bad boy is better than on my lg 42 inch 1080p lcd." Im getting it in a few days though, worth a shot, cheapest 3D tv thats 50inch...

Hasn't the psc490 always been this price?
#4
yes but with 1 good review and no bad ones its ok for someone needing 3d tv on a budget

Heat for the pic of a sleeping koala :)

Good tv if you watch Sky, as it broadcasts 720p and this tv up scales to 1080i

I would go for the 46" 1080p Samsung posted below this, you will notice the difference between 720p and 1080p at 50". The Samsung also comes with a pair of 3D glasses (worth around £60) so it is only £30 if presumably you were going to buy a pair of 3D glasses anyway.

Hmm true, as the other person stated though, im not going just for the 3D, i wouldnt use it much, its just a bonus. Thats 200hz, this is 600hz, is hz a big difference? I read online and people said that theres not much difference with 720 and 1080p..
