Just £769 at Richersounds if you live near any of the 5 stores that have it.

Brighton, Cheltenham, Leeds,Lichfield and Sheffield.

http://www.richersounds.com/showclearanceproduct/SAMS-PS50C680/Samsung+Ps50c680.html

Also £865 here with 5 year warrenty. http://www.robertwhyteltd.co.uk/ps50c680-c-42-p-1489-b-2

Based on these two I would have to say this is a cold deal.

great tv though - I'm starting to like mine more and more. (only poorish black level remains a sore point).

Cold because only 1 pair of glasses in the box. No spare set, no 3d player, no Shrek 3d, etc. Good telly, but buzzes quite a bit and has the image retention of an etch a sketch. Apart from that, nice picture and good 3D.

the blu ray players are out of stock in the Dixons warehouse, hence no big bundle deal as before.
just looked on the stock list today for a customer

I have owned this tv since oct and i dont hear any buzzing that you speak of. I agree there is image retention but if you look around on the net for a "run-in guide" that will help.

Thanks, dude. All TVs buzz, just depends on your sensitivity. Doesn't bother me but will bother some people. Even the troubleshooting section of the manual says don't worry about the buzzing and try turning the brightness down that sort of thing.

I don't run TVs in as I expect it to work out of the box. I barely even calibrate them. I am happy with the TV and it's PQ. But it was a blow that the TV isn't an internet TV - why would they make a big 2010 tv without internet TV? The TV will do me for a few years then I'll be looking to upgrade to something better quality.

It's a nice value TV and a good entry level one for 3d until that tech improves.
