I have this set. Got it in August from Currys. Fantastic set, brilliant for gaming (much better with it being plasma for response times,no lag at all). Sky 3d and hd is awesome. You must get sky hd if you have this set. Recorded quite a few 3d films off Sky 3d channel which is no extra cost if you already subscribe to the Sky hd package.
Standard definition is good, but hd is great.

Loving my set, mine was the 3glasses and blu-ray player for £999. Blu Ray player has never been opened as use Ps3 for my 3d blu-rays.

Top tv! Have some heat.
Plus you can buy the Samsung starter pack which has Monsters Vs Aliens 3d and 2 pairs of glasses for £105-ish.

gmdlogan does it have a built in media player? mkv 720/1080p? sbs files?

Saw this yesterday on Amazon and was going to post it myself i was even thinking of a buying for myself until i read the very bad reviews the set has with loud buzzing and other faults most people agreed that at first they where happy but things soon went bad ways.
#8
Yes buddy it has a built in media player and plays mkv 1080p from a usb. not sure over network.

Ive had mine for months and not a blip of bother. Image Retention is a bit of a b!tch but thats all it is. Not image burn. I love the set. And for the money, its a stonker of a tv. Plus people keep saying im waiting for glassesless 3d to come out, but James Cameron was quoted online as saying that it could be 10years before that is totally viable. I wouldn't try telling anyone not to buy this set, if anyone you know has it with Sky hd, get round and see it. Awesome.

Yep, go for it. Lovely telly. The only thing it's missing is internet TV and the image retention is one thing you may notice, but I have this TV and no regrets. It's lovely.

No internet tv? Not even if you purchase the separate dongle? :(

Also, it reads NTFS file format.

Lot of people have said that there's noticeable screen burn when playing games on it and they have also said that it cant record to the usb that's what's turned me off as i was lokking to upgrade my Zseries 47inch Toshiba that's been a excellent set and still is, in fact the missis cant understand why i want a new set.

Nope no internet TV even with dongle with this tv. Sadly. But the dongle lets you stream from your PC. The dongle also plugs into my Samsung 3d blu ray player which does have internet tv.

It's not burn, it's retention. It does retain but fades. Not tried recording to usb.

£735 now. Expired.

Back to deal price. Should be unexpired?

Dixons too but they waited until their 6% off code expired. Even with 6% saving, I wouldn't use dixons.

This is one of the best deals if you want 3D.
