This 63" would be delivered in a pallet I think, that's why it is so high on delivery, as it would weight a ton.

Lol, a quote from that news story:

Pregnant women, the elderly, sufferers of serious medical conditions, those who are sleep deprived or under the influence of alcohol should avoid utilising the unit’s 3D functionality.

I can just imagine trying to do something stupid when absolutely wasted like trying to climb inside your TV :)

This is silly money - I'm all for 3D TV's but in order to get good use out of it you would need to be using it ALL the time for 4 years!

Sorry, cold. I genuinely believe 3D TV is a fad and won't take off, so can't give heat to this.

You could watch all of the 3D content that has been filmed in one day, maybe two.

Thought i read somewhere that 3D Bluray DVDs are £50.
#32
That's possibly the best time to use it, under the influence.

Having been to CES in Vegas this year I can say that 3D is going to take off in a huge way. Sports in 3D and Console/PC 3D gaming are so immersive, especially if you have a large screen like the one listed here.

Also imagine a horror movie like The Ring in 3D

What, just because you don't like the post - don't be so rude.

60"+ TVs are expensive as the difference in size from 50 - 60" is considerable.
#36
I'm all for this, unsure of 3D making it big I'm not sure I'd want to use it all the time just hear and there for good blockbuster films or to show off! :) I never buy in to new technology until it's been proven, tired, tested, and in high demand = lower price tag. I will leave it 2 years and come back, heated as it's the best price so far.
#37
Want.

i have been pretty surprised at the good reviews the latest samsung tv's have got.
dont get me wrong im not an expert but samsung do make some "attractive" tv's that most people would be happy with for not a lot of money but deep down how they perform is normally another matter especially black levels.
These new ones seem to of taken it up a gear to compete at the high end
#39
this + world cup = something good
#40
Think I'll get a couple for the kids rooms.
