Quite expensive for that spec. I posted this a while back, now down to £509 delivered. It has a 17.3 inch screen (1600x900), 512 MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5430 Graphics, 320 GB 7200 RPM drive (faster than this one). The HP has a slightly slower CPU, 2.13 Ghz vs 2.4Ghz.

I guess it depends what you're looking for, this 13.3 inch laptop is more portalble than the HP one I mentioned, but it's more expensive and the all round spec isn't as good.

A 13.3" laptop will always be more expensive - it's much cheaper to make parts that will fit in a massive 17" chassis, than to get the same spec into a 13".

This laptop is incredibly light and the battery life is excellent (7 hours), so if you want portability it's a great choice, but if you want a brick for the desktop you can obviously get cheaper laptops.

PS. This is the cheapest I've seen this - the best price I could get (just over a month ago) even using a discount code was £550.

I think I addressed this when I said:

"I guess it depends what you're looking for, this 13.3 inch laptop is more portalble than the HP one I mentioned, but it's more expensive and the all round spec isn't as good."

yes but then that was ruined by the irrelevant comparison before that

it's like comparing an estate car and a sports car...

no, wait a minute, it's like comparing a 2.5inch portable external hard drive, with a 3.5 inch external desktop hard drive, and complaining that the 2.5 inch one is "more expensive" and the "all round spec isn't as good"

the comparison was totally irrelevant

Good price for a laptop I've had my eye on for a while. Thanks for posting it.

It's a well reviewed (pc pro a-list) ultra portable with great spec for the price, so ignore the opening moronic comment on this listing.
