Not voted, however I have only had the experience of using about 6 different makes of laptop, and had the most unhappy experiences with a Samsung. When I decided to return it, it was collected by a courier who seemed to indicate that he collects Samsung more than many supposedly inferior brands. Maybe I was just unlucky ...

I think that this looks like an excellent deal.

4GB/320gb & 128mb Video plus HDMI output.

You'll struggle to get a similar spec unit at this price I reckon (gauntlet crashes down onto the floor)

there was another deal @ tesco direct on Lenovo laptop for £329.

Price is the same but it has 3GB RAM, pentium processor and 250GB HDD and integrated bluetooth.

How do you compare? any comments please?

Of course it has integrated graphics. It costs £329. The processor is OK but the Pentium Dual Cores are somewhat better, though I imagine for most users they wouldn't see much difference. The integrated graphics here are better than those in Pentium Dual Core laptops. These AMD dual core laptops seem to run warmer than Pentium Dual Cores.

The price is at the current lower end for laptops of this spec but there have been Pentium Dual Cores around at a similar or lesser price in recent weeks.

Depends what your spending your £400 on. A Toshiba with a much better T6500 core 2 duo processor was posted here recently for £370 and the better QL65 and QL66 equipped laptops are often below £400.

AMD Processors eat batteries on laptops - so dont expect it to last long on battery alone - still pretty good spec otherwise
