The stock in the dell outlet is only updated through out the week mon- friday. Check tomorrow between 1410 and 1500 and there should be more stock. :p

There are quite a few people that slate the eBay/pc world warranties. Frankly its all down to clever buying. Buying a model that is a current line in PC World and Currys stores is likely to still have manufacterer warranty, as realistically it will only be a month or so old. I'd very much prefer the manufacterer dealing with problems rather than individual stores.

There is another benefit in that these are not likely to be display units (I.e the ones that are switched on 24/7 in their stores). Older models are likely to be just that. Moral of the story, research the model. If its only a couple of months old then I'd buy a refurb. It's also likely to have not been repaired and just been returned after opened as was not liked (under DSR). For the price, this particular one is a pretty good deal!

Once you receive your order just inspect the casing and hardware carefully for signs of dismantling (screw heads have chipped off paint e.t.c.) There are apps that read the manufacturing dates of most key components. If they don't all match to around the same time then obviously the component that has a significantly different manufacturing date is the one that was faulty and subsequently replaced (by the PC World crew :o) in which case you can make your own judgement whether to keep or opt for a full refund.
