you need to put the price of the product and where it is from dude, i believe it is boots and £530 after looking at the link but you may want to add it into the title

It's cheap but I suggest searching for information about Samsung American-style fridge/freezers on Google before you buy.

I own one and would never touch Samsung with a bargepole again! There's a reason they're cheap.

You can get this delivered to your door within 2 days for £530 from Cooperative Electrical if you use this code: NM0809E.

Definately wouldn't recommend buying anything from DRL Limited or one it's many branded websites, 3 months since I order a fridge freezer from them and it should finally be delivered this Friday, at least I got compensation for the delays after chasing them since they cancelled the first delivery
And as KingCampo said same price at Cooperative and far more reliable

My mother in law bought one similar to this and has had nothing but trouble with it and if out of warranty its very expensive to fix and most repair agents wont touch Samsung.

Hers is currently sat gathering dust as it was going to be £150 to be repaired.

Can't comment on the Samsung but I've got only good things to say about my American style fridge freezer, it was cheap too and it's made by Daewoo.
#12
I'm still kicking myself for not getting that £350 LG American one couple of years back :)
#13
Use Co-Op great service they stick to the time they are going to deliver, send you a text with full time slot. They even un-pack it for you. And don't forget 2% quidco.
#14
I have a similar one to the above, had it for five years, never missed a beat.

I bought mine from www.electricshop.com. I know it's dearer, but it's much better! Samsung RSH1DTMH 524 Litres American Fridge Freezer in Manhattan Silver with 2 Year Warranty £569.99 - What's with the half door bars?!!
#16
I bought a fridge from boots one time and they delivered the wrong one. They have one of the Worst customer service approaches i have ever come across. About 2weeks of fobing me off and messing me around with new delivery dates and pick up dates i cancelled and got my money back. Only good thing was i got to keep the wrong fridge as they didnt turn up on the day they said they would to collect it and i refused point blank to wait in again for them.

Why are these called 'American style'? This style in stainless steel has been supplied in Europe since the 1970s in hotel and Deli kitchens etc ;) The shape and finish is 'industrial' style.

This fridge is too small...

I've probably just jinxed it now, but ours has been running fine for the last 3 or 4 years.

Had a Samsung now for nearly seven years without a bit of bother so in my books they are a great buy:thumbsup:

To me an American fridge has to have an ice maker  but this doesn't :x

This pile of junk pops up on the BBC 1 Watchdog show every so often. Don't touch it with a bargepole!

Phone your local fridge/freezer service centre and ask them what they think of the Samsung brand and you will see why this is cheap!
#26
I've had one from this range (the RS21FCNS model), and apart from the inherent design fault with the cooling fan, (which was rectified free of charge by Samsung, as part of their 5yr extended warranty, put in place after the Watchdog report to cover this), it's been fine.

I'd expect you'd be fine buying this now.

We have this fridge/freezer and it's fab. Paid £599 about 18 months ago, which was the cheapest price then.

At £530, a bargain

What's with the half door bars?!!

I'll be guessing it's designed to stop the rugrats playing with the doors.
A fine idea IMO.

Sounds just like them at least you got something out of them in the end ;-), ordered mine from their Screwfix Appliances fronted site, and Screwfix have told me it should have been shut down months ago. They're behind so many appliance websites and alot of people have had the same sort of problems, I'm amazed it's got this hot to be honest when it's available at other sites for similar prices and with far better service

Sorry - you need to be a Coop Member to use the code. Lifetime membership is £1 and gets you benefits across all Coop services - food, travel, finance, electrical etc. Worth every penny - you get income every year from company profits too - I got £10 back this year.

No it isn't. The stainless steel version (RSH1NBRS) was being sold for just over £500 at the begining of the year, so £530 for a painted grey version is expensive.
