Don't know about just deleting the movie - wish I could delete the image off the case.

I'd buy it like a shot if so. Got two of these drives already - white and red. A plain gold one would have done just nicely.

As it's my Birthday voted hot anyway (feeling charitable).

Is this a decent drive?

I am in the market for a 500-640gb portable drive, but cant decide which one is best.

As a rule of thumb - which make would you go for in terms of reliability?

At the moment i am looking at;

Lacie rikiki 500gb
Seagate expansion 6440gb

hot deal, good quality drive at a good price also including a very good and well received movie of the This is It concert rehearsal footage. Without question a hot deal.

People are entitled to their opinions, and I am a great believer in freedom of speech. However I am also bothered intently by the level of unparalleled ignorance this man faced in his life and still so in his passing. The following are facts:

- Michael Jackson has the biggest selling album of all time (Thriller) and always will.

- Michael Jackson has the biggest Tour of all time in every aspect (tickets sold, money made etc)

- Michael Jackson broke down racial barriers not just in music but in entertainment in general, and he alone made MTV change their policies on showing music videos of black artists. Speaking of which, Michael Jackson pretty much created the modern pop music video as we know them now (short film esque with choreography etc)

- Michael Jackson over the course of his life gave between 350-500 million dollars of his own money to charity, a fact that is shockingly under reported.

- Michael Jackson was found innocent of all charges after a trial in 2003

- The mother who initiated the legal proceedings here against Michael had a history of Fraud and trying to swindle money off people. Her testimony was erratic and constantly contradicting.

- The childs testimony was likewise, inconsistent and unbelievable. The "Jesus Juice" quote came from something that was alleged in court and subsequently plastered over the red tops over here like it was fact, whereas in fact it was a bizarre, unfounded accusation that was ultimately prioven false. I serisouly question the intellect of the person who bases their opinions on the News of the Worlds headlines.

- The previous case back in the early 90s was ended with a settlement due to Michael Jacksons lawyers not being able to guarantee to him that justice would prevail in a court of law. At the time he was at the peak of his career and in the middle of what was at the time the biggest world tour of all time- and the settlement was intended to make it go away. If your son was repeatedly molested would you settle for 10 milliion dollars and a handshake? Please.

- In addition, this childs father was recorded saying "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever ... Michael's career will be over" which was the main impetus in the prosecution realising accepting a settlement and riding off into the sunset would be their best option.

As I said, people are entitled to their opinions, but to anybody who knows even a small amount of the facts surrounding these allegations who also has any semblence of intellect it is quite clear they were manufactured for monetary gain. Oh yeah by the way, evan chandler commited suicide shortly after Michaels death.

Thankfully, after a generation or two pass the ignorance will die along with the idiots and future generations will be able to enjoy MJ for what he was-which was arguably the greatest entertainer of all time, and somebody who unquestionably created some of the finest music ever produced.

RIP. Hot deal.

I think people are a little perturbed as they want the hard drive and not the image on MJ on it. Any deals out there for external hard drives of the same size spec and same price?

.....probably not.... these have obviously been reduced because of how people felt about Jackson..... cant blame them really..... I hear OJ Simpson's book sold quite well after he was found innocent.... so he must have been innocent.... right?

Cue MJ fans totally blind because they they love his music so much.

Anyway good deal for a ex harddrive of this capacity so heat added.

No not blind but have done their research and not just believed what the tabloids have written. Open your mind up a bit and read "Conspiracy" by Afrodite Jones or "redemption" by Geraldine Hughes

UGH

For christs sake, serisously, what do you actually know about either case that was brought against Jackson? If anything, the whole "OJ was found innocent 2 M I RITE LOLOLZ" argument is even more ignorant and irritating than somebody making a random flailing paedo joke, because they're not just trying to get attention or be the funny guy but they genuinelly have been walked down this path of stupidity by the tabloid media.

How people felt about Jackson? It makes me laugh. He was and is the most loved entertainer of all time, and always will be.

Personally I use Western Digital, I have used them for years and currently have 3 of their drives and never had any problems what so ever.
Cheapest WD portable drive is probably the Essentials. It's plain black and looks good (if not a little cheap). I picked a 500gb one up a couple of weeks ago for just under £50 from pc world but the price has now gone back up. Alternatively the old passport drives with mini USB are great, not the new ones with micro USB though.

You have to laugh at crap like this. How many people should have come out of the woodwork with their stories? How many have? None, not one.
The difference with OJ was simple. no-one could place him at the crime it happened in an urban area with no witnesses.
MJ would have had hundreds of people in and around the house, it would have allowed anyone to even suggest a made up story that would have been picked up, but it never happened.
Cue odd people that still bow to aeroplanes as 'that big silver bird' and throw rocks at the clouds.

You mean like camping out or youth hostelling?
In some tiny minds you see a picture of a stained single bed in a pokey backroom instead of a bedroom that would take up the floor space of an average house. But hey if it makes them popular in the greyhound club.

How was it unbelieveable? The only unbelieveable thing about it was the how little of the evidence was reported and that he was practically declared guilty before the trial even began. Have a read of this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/charles-thomson/one-of-the-most-shameful_b_610258.html

I've read it before and its pretty shocking. The fact that Tom Sneddon was practically salivating at a guilty verdict etc.
No doubt the anti fans wont be interested in reading the truth...sad...very sad:x

Could you imagine the scene in this film being replaced with wacko music?

No one said that. Does sharing a bed with someone mean something sexual has to happen though? Several children who shared a bed with MJ were questioned and used as witnesses, all say the same thing - that he did nothing indecent.
#38
Its already been confirmed Michael slept on the floor and the kids, usually 2 or 3 at a time, had his bed. Once again if you read true info instead of tabloids, then you would know this:roll::roll::roll:or can you not manage anything more than a taboid....words too long in a book??
#39
I think part of what it is as well is that ignorance is bliss- for people like the poster going on about OJ/ sleeping with kids etc they don't have any particular interest in MJ as an artist for whatever reason-and that's their right, regardless of what you or I may think about it, but people still like to have a strong "opinion" on something, and one of the things the internet gives you is a platform to offer an opinion with zero accountability. Would these people say these things with such conviction in real life? Probably not.

Bless.
