Not as cheap as it initially was, what with general prices falling regularly since this first appeared. Still ok though :)
#2
Oh, not more Michael Jackson crap......boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#3
He's dead, move on.
Has been cheaper. Obviously no one can shift these which is why they keep turning up on here.:D
#4
The reason why they dont shift is because you cannot put the drive in anything else, i.e. notbook, etc.

He's dead, he's dead, you know it!

...Poor taste i know...

This is either going to get cold due to it being a Michael Jackson product or because of the company supplying it, Orange Accessories. Cheers for the post but I'm not in need of this/ I reckon the latter due to the amount of mess ups this company has made on previous offerings and let a lot of people down.

...due to the amount of %^$% ups this coming has made...

Ooh. Edited and still a typo :p

I was thinking just yesterday that we haven't seen these listed for a while. For Steviecross and anyone else who doesn't know, the usb is welded onto the drive itself.

Thanks, just ordered.

great item....pic of Jacko on it but so what?....if you dont like him it comes with a snug leather pouch

I heard there's some secret hidden pictures on Michael's hard disk of Michael with Macauley Culkin lending support to the idea he'd never been so stiff since Macauley spent the night.

Because the hd doesn't have a standard connector, it is directly soldered onto the circuit board. You wont be able to plug it into your notebook bay (or another enclosure), otherwise I would have bought one when they where around £30.

o.k. that is unusual, silly idea and must cost them more to manufacture.

Yes, but you can usually open them up, and put the HDD into a PS3 or Laptop etc etc.

You just might struggle with this one.

Follow the thread.

I did, especially post #12.

So you were repeating what has already been confirmed? Odd.

Sainty, you seem to be really struggling with this one.
You've ordered one and suggest in post #15 "you can usually open them up, and put the HDD into a PS3 or Laptop ".
But in post #12, it has been said "the hd doesn't have a standard connector, it is directly soldered onto the circuit board. You wont be able to plug it into your notebook bay (or another enclosure)".

See post #19 in this thread for a piccy.
That is why I said you might struggle with this one.

Understand now?

I see where you've been going wrong. The person I quoted was pointing out in BIG SHOUTY LETTERS:
THIS IS A USB portable Hard Drive NOT an INTERNAL Drive

This is correct, but just because an external HDD is in an enclosure, doesn't stop one being opened up and used as internal one.

This model can't, which is why I said they "Usually" can. Hence this drive isn't as desireable as others.

I just paid £48 for a 500GB HDD bare drive for my PS3, as I am well aware that this one is no good for my purposes.
