A fast response time I can understand but I thought with LCD the refresh rate is far less important than compared to an old CRT monitor which clearly flickered at low rates?

Offer starts 30/08/12
The claim form opens then, but you can buy now: "Qualifying display purchases must be made between 01/08/12 and 30/09/12".
Doesn't appear to say what evidence you need if any showing you are a student though.

Yeah they seemed to over look the student bit, I thought that!
Are you telling me your reaction times are 2ms? Are you telling me your eyes/brain refreshes 500 times a second? Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, OliBot - the real-life bionic man.
Any monitor that supports a 1920x1080 resolution and has an HDMI port can be used as a TV.

You'll need to make other arrangements if you want sound.
