£7.50 quidco and should be unlocked good deal.
#3
excellent price..I almost bought it for £50+ last week.
#4
Does anyone can confirm that is unlocked ???
#5
Obviously I cannot confirm that this one will be unlocked but my Nokia 5230 posted here the other day was unlocked.

e2save is part of the Carphone Warehouse. I went to the shop the other day and asked them whether all of their PAYG phones were unlocked and they said yes. So I assume that this will be as well.

PAYG phones i bought from them all are unlocked.

Looks like a good deal. I suspect e2save mean compromising when they say compensating.

Cheap but wished i never bought mine, only had it 8 months and needs charging up 3 times a week

The touchscreen has a mind of it's own as well.

Going the IPhone route next

PS - It's awful for phoning any company who ask you to press numbers to get to certain departments, but a great keyboeard for texting (querty)

Well a phone worth £40 now is never gonna compete with an iphone.

not for the clearance phone

OP should have mentioned that it is clearance phone. Clearance phones are not in original box. Some accessories may be missing.

If you thought charging the battery 3 times a week you are in for a shock when you get your iphone! Im charging mine every day and some days more than once! 3 times a week sounds like a dream come true!
#19
had no issues with charging mine and the touch screen was spot on for me have an ipod touch which in comparison was not bad for a budget phone

Ebay a new battery or two?
I was told my Cookie (more or less identical to the tocco) had very poor life so got a spare but haven't needed to use it yet.

To balance out the above comment, I have owned this phone for a few months and have been very pleased with it. I bought it reconditioned from Vodafone too and it looks and works like new. The battery life is excellent for me; I get over a week on one charge, but then I only use it a little bit each day to send a few texts, search on Yell.com or Google, and check/update Facebook. Sure, the iPhone is definitely a nicer product - with a price tag to reflect - but the Tocco Lite is excellent value for money providing it does everything you need a PAYG phone to do. It is not flawless by any means (I agree with the above comment about using the on-screen keypad during voice calls, and the lack of voice-dialing is a major drawback if you wish to make calls using a hands-free set), but the range of features is good for this price range and the phone has a pleasantly polished feel about it.

Voted hot at this price in terms of value for money.

Bought 2 different phones at seperate times last year from this company. First time, my card and bank, second time, partners card and bank.

BOTH times it was flagged up by the banks as possible fraud and a block put on our accounts. Required a barrage of calls to and fro to get the purchase to go through, roughly 24 hours to get it sorted and then requires more work resetting all your bank pins and passes.

To be fair they do deliver quick and their clearance/reconditioned phones are spot on, basically a brand new phone in a plain white box but i dont think i want to go through all that banking chaos again. Would rather pay more elsewhere just to save the aggro.

Can't fault that.
Does what a mobile needs too without the hefty price tag. Makes calls, texts and has a classy enough edge. The keypad during calls is fiddly but not difficult and while you could never compare it to iphone 4 you can certainly say it is not 20 times worse when you compare prices.

That your bank not e2, the bank system will flag any high risk item which they say a mobile phone is. The bank system will flag it aswell because it a item you don't normally buy, HSBC are always doing it

Clearance Stock.

By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even further savings across our whole range. These products are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail-order returned. They are not flawed products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace of mind, each and every product has been quality inspected by our engineers and reconditioned if necessary. Each product also comes with a full, one year manufacturer’s warranty.

Please note that reconditioned products are usually repackaged once tested and do not come in the original branded box. Reconditioned handsets will be packaged with a charger and battery. Other accessories and memory cards are not guaranteed .

Best £50 phone around, ignore all the bad comments, they didn't buy it for this price so had higher expectations.

I paid £90 back in January and still love it. Knew exactly what i was getting.

All prepay or pay as you go phones sold by e2save are unlocked handsets. e2save is the same as carphone warehouse!

I bought one of these last November for £85 and I'm impressed with it. It's no iPhone but it's also a tenth of the price of and iPhone.

Keypad is good, camera is reasonable, call quality is good and it's a very solid phone. The only downside is the lack of 3G internet.

it is a Clearance one. usually comes in white box just with a charger

I owned this for 12 months. The lowdown:

It's an entry level touch screen with many features. The battery life is amazing.

However it cannot be compared to the iPhone or a HTC, purely because there is no 3g or WIFI, so the web access is really slow. You can download some apps that are compatible (like gmail) if you can wait ;) there is also no flash.

Overall, a great phone for every day stuff. But with the later phones you get a whole lot more (for more money, obviously).

Ordered this for the Mrs and she love it.

It comes in a white plain box and the phone is unlocked, she is running it on O2 and I have tried it on orange also.

Contents include
Phone
Mains Charger
Small user manual
Usb Cable
Samsung PC Stuido cd
Vodaphone Sim packet

No headphones are included.

All in all not a bad deal.
