Good price, I assume you need to do that trick as above as it shows £49.99 for me.

i've bought one anyway but what do you all think of the camera itself? Some reviews are commenting on the battery life, but if you have plenty of rechargables i don't see the problem!
#10
From the reviews, it seems the battery life is really bad - no mention of how many photos people were able to take before the batteries croaked and what kind of batteries were used. One person wrote they lasted for two hours - but no mention of whether that was 2 hours of normal usage or two hours of constant video recording and viewing etc.

Anyone have this camera? Any further info on battery life?

I have been looking for a cheap camera under £50 with a rechargeable battery for my daughters 8th birthday present, and we picked up this one from Tescos for £35 (order on line pick up in store to avoid delivery). Not bad I thought for a 7 mega pixel rechargeable camera (although no sound on video record). case is quite okay to, thick leather look not a silly satin pouch so saved on that to a thought was going to have to buy on top... heres the link if you are interested

I received one a couple of weeks ago.

Camera is ok but it seems more of a toy than a proper camera, but its good for a throw-around. Battery life is quite bad I haven't tried my rechargeables. I used some Ikea AA batteries (which are normally ok with everything else) but they lasted about 10 photos (messing around etc) however I then used the duracell batteries that are included and they are still working - after about 40 shots, messing around, viewing etc.

A nice cheap camera, with good shots, you can't complain for this price to be honest :)

Given to my parents, they like it.

The battery life is good, using Eneloop rechargable battery, can taken up to 200 photos.

Wow! 200 sounds excellent - god only knows what the complaints were from other people about if you're hitting 200.

People complaint because they use Alkaline batteries, which is obviously not accepted in most current dc.

Have they despatched the case and the camera? If for some reason they have sent the camera separately it is possible that you will receive a credit for the discount when the case is despatched.

Amazon are careful to claim on their order acknowledgement that the contract is not in place until despatch. You have the option to return the goods within 7 days. They generally also respond favourably to pricing queries and you may find that they will honour the price quoted in the acknowledgment if you contact them through your account page. Their customer service is generally good.

Given the circumstances it is clear that there was a mistake in the original pricing of which you were aware and it is not unreasonable for Amazon to require you to pay intended price for the camera or allow you to return it FOC. You should not have to pay for the case.
