We have some of these where I work for kids to use - rarely a bad photo, good battery life, big clear screen, a doddle to use. £50 is a bargain really!

Looks ok for a very basic cam - possibly be tempted to spend £20 or £30 more myself and get a decent discounted fuji, panasonic or canon model.

Is the 2GB SD card supplied by Amazon or one of the traders who usually have additional silly postage costs.

Ordered one of these last week from Amazon at £59.99, not even delivered yet and the price has fallen by £10. Just emailed them to see if they will refund the difference otherwise may have to return it unopened and buy again at the new price.

Agree about the SD cards - all had big postage to add on. Got mine from Play as postage is free.

What batteries were you using? Standard AAs give poor results in any camera. New set of rechargeables are best bet. We use eneloops in 2 of ours, great batteries, they maintain their charge for months so you can just pick up and use the camera.

i dont know if its from amazon or members but its on the same link as the one in the first post.

If you scroll down a little on the same page it says 'perfect partner' thats where it shows the memory card with the camera for £55.25...

That SD card is from a marketplace seller so £4.50 postage to add.

And regarding the price drop, don't Amazon pay you the money back if you tell them that?
