ordered thanks op

Also a black one but that works out at £348.90
Paid £320 for a black one yesterday in 'like new' condition so prices vary every day.
Good price though for the gold one

All gone I think

Was going to order but you only get a 30 day warranty! Not certain if Samsung would extend original purchase warranty to second user.

I can't see anything about warranty I see they have a 30 day return policy. there is a post on here that says Amazon warehouse have a 1 year warranty.

On the site it's stated 30 days... However if there's an issue with your item
Use the chat and they'll happily take it back for a full refund
They do however take up to 2 weeks in my experience for refunding

How do you get 20% off, is there a code?
#11
Sorry if I've missed something elsewhere but where's the 20% discount from?

When you purchase something from Argos they also advertise a 30 day money back guarantee.

But, when Amazon advertise 30 returns why do you suddenly believe that that means you lose your statutory consumer rights?

There is no difference in the protection afforded to you whether it is new or used as long a you're not claiming based on the fault it was already discounted for.

Both policies are offered as a bonus by the retailers.

it is not possible to remove your statutory rights by contract or terms - statutory trumps contract every time.

OOS but there's an S6 edge for £284.34 after discount (£300.50 for VGC)

Yeah. Amazon probably originally thought they'll add that no quibble 30 return policy as part of their marketing of Amazon Warehouse products believing it would give people peace of mind when ordering.

However they never realised that it would be possible for people to believe it would somehow exclude their statutory rights! Maybe they should add the pointless, but commonly found statement "This does not affect your statutory rights"!

FYI. I must have bought a shed load of refurb samsung and LG phones from both amazon warehouse and currys ebay for myself and family over the last four years. On the occasions a phone has needed repair the manufacturer has always stood by the warranty and repaired it for free. Never had to provide proof of purchase. Samsung phones have two years warranty and LG one. With Samsung they know the date of manufacture from the serial number. To obtain an unofficial estimate of the remaining warranty on your individual phone CLICK HERE. As soon as i receive a phone i always register it on the manufacturer's website as it seems to make things run a bit smoother if i need to use the warranty.

Damn! Been looking out for this all week and missed it by a few hours it seems!!!

How much were they if you can remember? Got one for the missus @ 338 in gold but unsure whether to cancel and wait to see if they get cheaper in the run up to xmas. The one I got should only have box damage, everything else new.
#28
after the 20% discount worked out around the same price
#29
Hopefully they will drop back down to £30 cheaper? lol

Got mine today. Managed to get a black one for 316 which is great (cancelled the gold model). Turned up and it's new and all accessories sealed with UK plug. However, it says 'European model' on the box. Is that the same as the UK model or will there be some kind of difference?

Yes that is normal. As long as you've got the SM-G930F then you have the same version as you'd get if purchased anywhere else in the UK or with a UK mobile contract. There is no separate model for the UK market vs the rest of Europe.

Thanks kindly. Yes, that's what it says on the label on the phone. Nice bargain, thanks op.
