Still bloody expensive

Not bad considering the standard none edge S7 is £500 and a Gear VR is worth £60

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the new 'S' range announced in a few months anyway?
#4

Usually released March/April. Not much use if you need a phone now and the S8 'Edge?' is going to be around the £650 price when it launces.

Surely the S7 prices will drop when it's announced?

Probably, still no use if you need a phone now. Go check out the S6 Edge prices as well, still £420 now 8 months after the S7 came out so I wouldn't expect huge price drops straight away either.

i reckon its worth heat for no O2 bloatware and dont forget 8% Quidco cashback that makes it about £500

Already have both items.....phone is superb :) ....no slow down or issue experienced in the 2 months that I have had it.......as for the vr, the experience is amazing.....Yes, it is expensive, but a whole lot more palatable if on a pay monthly deal.....I luckily got a decent one :)

If you can afford it, buy it....if not then apay monthly contract is another option. If this is a no go then there are loads of very decent devices out there at significantly lower prices....Remember, it's only a phone ;)

On the quidco website it says the cashback is 1.1% for Argos. How are you getting 8%?

Deal now finished but reserved one yesterday which apparently I can collect today with deal price and free version headset. All competing prices appear to have increased so even more tempted now.
