You link is to a 3.5 Hard Disk. OP's is a 2.5" hard disk (smaller). Completely different product. Yours would not fit in laptop or PS3, its designed for Desktops. A common mistake. :)

Better off getting this imo : only rougly £2.50 more (inc delivery) and is 7200RPM instead of 5400 and Ram size is 64MB compared to the 8MB

That won't fit in a PS3 or PS4 as it is 3.5"

What's the best 1tb or more quick hard drive to get for the ps4 peeps?

Has it been proven 7200 or ssd having a speed advantage over the stock drive in ps4?

The reason they put 5400 is due to noise and heat they give off. 5400 is best of both, put 7200 in and your likely to have a noisy(er) PS4 than stock. SSD will be wasted in a PS4, you'll end up replacing it in a year or 2

The first tested boot times:

SSD boots in 19.5 seconds
Hybrid boots in 20.3 seconds
Default boots in 25.7 seconds
So with an SSD, you’ll save 6 seconds every time you boot your PS4 up. Worth the upgrade? Don’t decide just yet.

Time it takes to launch disc based game (Knack):

SSD: 34 seconds
Hybrid: 33.7 seconds
Default: 39.7 seconds
So you save another 5 seconds when you load a game (in this case, Knack) from a disc.

Time it takes to launch download based game from hard drive (Killzone):

SSD: 39 seconds
Hybrid: 42 seconds
Default: 60 seconds
So you save another 21 seconds when launching a download game from the hard drive, without needing to authorize via disc.

I think the general consensus is that hybrid is the way to go for PS4, unless you've got money to burn on an SSD...
I'll be picking mine up closer to Infamous' release date, so will probably keep an eye on the 2TB M9T and 1TB hybrid drive prices.

Got one of these in my PS3 and it works a treat, and it should outperform the Hitachi model in the stock PS4s, so no harm in grabbing one now for a PS4 if you're not totally obsessed with performance

According to a friend in America it's faster by 3-4 seconds when loading Resogun
