Samsung Series 3 300E 17.3" Core i5 2450M Win7 Home 64-bit 4GB RAM 500GB HDD - £381.32 Ebay/Schtrade
Seems a good deal for a i5 or so i think anyway! i'm no expert but it's £500+ everywhere else as well so i think it's a decent deal.
I'm poised to buy this but have resisted upto now!
Credit to oddballjamie who brought this to my attention in another thread - i just thought it deserved a thread of it's own.

I agree.
The rest of the spec doesn't look that special, intel graphics just suck
Depends on the game, but will handle basic games like Minecraft etc, will easily handle the standard Microsoft Office, Browsing, Music etc.
Got to say it looks pretty good, hard to find an i5 2nd gen in a 17" laptop brand new for around this price!
Can anyone please recommend a laptop similar to this one spec wise but with a decent graphics card - budget £500.
Many thanks in advance.
im looking for 1 as well..... most hotdeals laptops dont have graphics...
i keep looking at this... as i think its a good all rounder

Try Dell Outlet, there was an i7 on there last week for just over £500 with 2gb graphics.

Nobody could pay me to get an AMD laptop, they run hotter than Intel PC's and when you've got a laptop on your bed/knee the fan holes get covered, therefore making it hotter, intel's always my choice for a laptop, so i'd steer clear of AMD if I was buying a lappy. My personal opinion before anyone flips.
Agree with oddballjamie that Dell Outlet is a smashing place to get laptops for cheap, although they are used or something, would never put me off as i've had friends and family get around 10 from there and the biggest issue out of all of them was one had a hairline mark on the bottom, not even worth noticing and they got £100 knocked off for it.

wow, that's a bargain !
tried to see if they have some nice deals there, but couldn't find any. i7 with 2gb gpu seems out of this planet for 500 quid ! :O
@ how many FPS ?

Thanks for that mate. Wish I didn't have to decide what's a good deal or not on Dell Outlet. I'd have to come on here first to check with people less technophobe than myself before I bought.
Thought I'd found a bargain on there for an i7, 8gb ram with a 3gb graphics card for £580, until I noticed VAT had to be added on. :-(
