If you add in the parking......! Cardiff City Centre is incredibly expensive!!

Seriously though, that's a good price.

I own this TV and love it. I got it at JL with the 5 year garauntee a few months ago now. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if they know how to turn off the little melody it plays each time u switch it on and off? lol
#5
Or if you want the next model up, the 5 series LE32B530 is available at Richer Sounds @ £359, and maybe a little cheaper with a good google search. Thats a 1080P set (Not That it matters with 32").

Even if you don't find a low enough price match elsewhere, it is just £349 with the 5 year warranty anyway:

Pixmania have this at £298 but I presume that will be delivery extra. (Not that I would DREAM of buying anything from Pixmania!)

If it's the same set up as my 37" press menu on the remote, go down to set up, and you should see melody.

Just bought this from John Lewis, Highcoss, Leicester yesterday. They price-matched their Bristol store selling at £319. Fab TV.
Ordered and paid on phone, drove into their delivery bay and picked it up no parking charges. Love this company.

They don't even list it at any price on the web site - all Samsung models here:
http://www.marksandspencer.com/Samsung-TVs-Accessories-Technology/b/79452031?ie=UTF8&rh=n%3A79452031%2Cp_4%3ASamsung%20Series%204

Was it instore, in which case, where, as that would make it one of the best 32" TV deals around!

Yeah, like I said, it's instore. (at the Bath store at least)
The website is currently out of stock of a lot of Samsung's. I'm waiting for the 32" b550 to come back in stock which was posted here last week (I'm told it should be back in stock about 19th Nov)

i was the person who posted the above 1080p m&s deal and the tv is brilliant. The 1080p does make a lot of difference even with a 32" and especially if your going to hook up your pc. Also m&s install the tv free for you aswell a great service all round well worth the money.

Thanks for your detailed information earlier, it's helped. The link in this comment doesn't seem to work now though.

thats because the tv is not on the site anymore because they are out of stock but they are getting them back in around the 19th november

Yes, and apart from being a different brand, and larger too meaning it's a lot dearer (naturally enough) but still without extended warranty for all that, and because of the size is therefore no good whatsoever for where I am planning to PUT a 32"; but above all, it is from a crappy DSG company too.

A cracking comparison that! :?

You got it already?
It said it would be delivered after 14th November when I was ordering it (until it came back as "sold out" after I entered my card details and pressed submit! grrrr

I have a feeling when it's back in stock it won't be that price anymore as it's now £550 instore (was showing as £399 before) :(

I wasnt doing a comparison to this deal or saying it was a better deal just for people looking for larger televisions as people mentioned the m&s tv that i got that was a lot better than this one, if they couldnt get it i was giving them an alternative. No need to get touchy put your handbag away. :p

DO NOT BUY THE LG OVER THIS!

I have this TV bought for £349 with 5 year warranty from John lewis!

It beats my mates LG 42" Plasma into the ground!

Picture quality on this is nothing short of perfect!
#25
reading thru this thread am i to assume that is only select suppliers like JL and M&S that are offering a 5yr g'tee and its not something as std from the mfr themselves ?

You can't base a whole brand on 1 TV! lol

Besides, I've heard that this Samsung B450 isn't that great and suffers from dodgy colours and poor viewing angle, so far from perfect it seems.

Yeah, its JL and M&S who do the 5yr warranty on their TVs, not the manufacturer themselves.

Hi
How do you get them to price match?
I'm wanting two of these so any saving I can make would help.
I can also get to leicester no problem
thanks in advance

I actually called up John Lewis in glasgow this evening about this tv. I said that I was interested in this model - it was priced at £345 on their website but the guy told me as richer sounds were selling it at 319 their system had a price match on it so I reserved it and collecting tomorrow.

I am happy about paying that little bit extra just for that 5 year warranty - plus its an actual store that I can return it to if anything goes wrong:thumbsup:
