Well just ordered one let see!!!

Saw this deal before and ordered it (was hoping to keep it quiet in the hope that it would be honored). But got an email 10 minutes ago to say that it was a miss price and that I would receive a refund. I guess play have not changed their website yet
#17
Do any of these mispriced items that appear on HUKD ever get honoured?

Slight misprices occasionally get honoured depending on the store but there is no way on earth a misprice this far off is ever going to get honoured. I doubt it would even get honoured at £5/600.

ordered 10, went staright through, but forgot quidco, so will order another 10 through them.

play.com t&c

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Dont know why people are bothering (I have already said that I got an email from play saying it would not be honored)
#22
i do remember an £800 coffee machine getting honoured at £80 on here, but that was from amazon and still gutted i missed it.

There would be some hope if idiot like minerwilly and riget weren't so bloody greegy. If there were normal orders, there is a minimal chance it could slip under the radar but these idiots are only highlighting the glitch by ordering in bulk, they're as bad as the ones who phone up and tell them

We seem to go through the exact same cycle with every obvious misprice. The last one I remember was the £200 LED TV from pixmania.

- Obvious misprice comments
- Ordered anyway comments
- They'll get cancelled comments
- They can't I've paid for it, that's what it says
- Various posts showing terms and conditions and twisting them their way
- Orders cancelled
- Some people accept and move on, others start kicking up a fuss saying they thought the price was genuine and now they'll have to wait to get the money back and can't pay for the Sky this month now.
- Several more pages of moaning and arguing about misprices and the stores T&C.
#26
For those that have ordered ...Good Luck! I hope you get the TV. If you don't then nothing lost.

Those that order ridiculous amounts should be banned from the website.

Sure they do and plenty of them. Another mod (Amibees) posted a coffee machine, reduced from £1200 to £800+ in Amazon, trouble is Amazon listed it at £80...

Express delivery option and new coffee within days for many.

You forgot the first one;

- Someone posts a list of the stages of how this will pan out on the thread.

:p

I was one of the crew who ordered the £200 Pixmania TV. That became one of the most epic Hotukdeals threads ever. Of course it was cancelled but it was worth joining in the fun. I really felt like part of a community ha

Always worth a punt. Never going to happen but worth ago. Xbox miss price at amazon, play never usually go through unless they don't see a thread here.

Has anyone had any e-mails saying its a mis print??
#33
Long time lurker, first time poster.

People need to wise up and stop putting in silly amounts of things and being selfish. We'd all get alot better if people stopped being selfish, we'd all be a 40" tv better off infact
#34
No email for me yet, only order confirmation email, not expecting it to be honoured anyway
#35
Its ten oclock at night you won't know anything till the moring I bet.
