Surely then you should adjust the price?

Are you actually allowed to collect instore at Ebuyer? I know you never used to

Well 99% of the people interested in buying this would require delivery - therefore surely it's a no brainer to include the postage cost.
The only reason I can see not to include postage is to mislead people.

You'd think so, wouldn't you....

And no, you definitely can't collect from Ebuyer, so there's no way of getting it without it being delivered.

Needs expiring or editing as it's not available at the posted price.

Not bad, but I prefer Pioneer burners myself and they are not that much more expensive, usually around the £20 mark.

Whats the point of this post?

OEM and Retail SATA DVDRW drives have been available at this price point for years, betwenn Aria, Scan, Saverstore, Ebuyer, they are always £12-£20, Samsung, Optiarc, Sony etc etc

£9.99 p&p for 'Highlands & Islands'
F'ing forget ebuyer, back to Scan

Just checked all 3 out bar Ebuyer, and it's still the cheapest?

oem, does that mean no cables with it? how much for a sata cable?

oh I need some sata cable as I bought an oem samsung harddrive with no cables? what length is the standard length to go in a ATX case? Im guessing I'll need a straight one, but I see they also have right angled ones.

are pioneers better than this? what model? can you put 2 of theses drives in the same computer and do a copy to copy of a disc?

Correct me if i am wrong which i could very well be but is P+P not free from ebuyer if you spend over £50 so i dont see why so many people are complaining as it is possible to get the free P+P

Yes you can provided you have the correct software (Nero or similar) but you do not need two to do this a DVD reader/player for a fiver and one of these to copy onto will work just the same. I do find the Pioneer writers to be better but that is just my own opinion.

For under £2 more you could get an OEM Sony 24x DVD-RW DL Lightscribe drive SATA-2 from the same place:

The deal posted is for a £12 writer on it's own - the fact you can get free delivery if you spend £50 is kind of irrelevant, not like it's a couple of quid to make up where people could find a filler item, its £38 of filler items!

Does it matter if you get sata 2 cables? for a sata 1 device?

Also does it matter if you get right angled sata cables or not?

Make sure which model you get, some of them are rip locked (223c iirc) and you cannot patch them because it uses a different chip. I would just sack this off and get a sony actually.
