Taken advantage of many bargains other users have posted, time to give something back! Go easy as its my first post!

Right, was after a screen that i could use for both PC and TV. Originally i was looking at 32" 1080p LCD TV's, but the bedroom isn't the biggest and the size would of been a bit overkill. I then decided on this Samsung 26" T260HD and found it at morecomputers for only £317.98 + £4.95 delivery - a bargain in my opinion. Here are some specs:

- Viewable Area: 26" Widescreen (1920x1200 Resolution)
- Interface: Analog / Digital / 2x HDMI / Component
- Built-in DTV(DVB) Tuner
- Optical Out
- PC Audio In
- Response Time: 6ms
- 16.7M Colours
- Contrast Ratio: 10,000:1
- Viewing Angle (H/V): 170°/ 160°
- Brightness: 300cd/m2
- 3W Stereo Speakers supporting (SRS TruSurround XT)
- 3 Years On-Site Warranty with Samsung

Other prices:

ebuyer - £384.28
overclockers - £434.78 :O
savastore - £363.34
oyyy.co.uk - £364.99

Let me know what you think! Thanks

Phil

I think.. this is case of quality vs quantity.. £320 for a full blown 26" HD or ~£350 32" for a 720p gah.. ! so difficult! rep and heated.

Nope - more Computers doesn't seem to work for me on 3 browsers !

so what do we think people? Great for a PC/TV monitor imo, shame about the lack of vesa mounting though.

Regarding the resolution stated on DVI, the model number is correct and should be full 1900x1200 as stated on samsungs website.

Have a look at these Amazon.com reviews - seems that the HD receiver is brilliant with mixed views about its use as a PC monitor and not so good speakers

Tempting, but I already have one of Samsungs TV/Monitors and to be honest they're not great as TV's and that last review definitely reflects that too.
Such a shame because besides the **** viewing angles and rubbish blacks it looks pretty decent!

The resolution doesn't really matter for TV use as the picture is the same size regardless, it can contribute to picture quality but it's only one of many factors. As this isn't that high a quality I wouldn't go for it just as a TV, this is very much a monitor that you might want to watch some TV on.
