I have this monitor (so obviously looking at it now) and have had it for over 6 months now.

Absolutely cracking monitor. Clear crisp display, superb on gaming such as Tomb Raider underworld, CoD5 and Left4Dead with no blurring whatsoever.

Quite an old monitor as the Samsung Rose replaced it, but i think this looks better in pure black gloss with just a blue surround over the on button.

Bargain Price, heat added:thumbsup:

I have this TV/Monitor and also think it's great. I paid about double this but I'm still happy with it a year later.

Note that there's no way to wall mount it and that it has no Freeview though.

Perhaps because it was virtually a month since last posted and as it's still a very good deal, the admins let it run.

Also, yours expired as the price went up to £120+. Since then the price went back down and someone else posted this deal. Whats not fair?

You got heat for yours too. Do you have to be bitter?

Bought this about 6 months ago for £150, its brilliant

I have the TV version of this. It is an excellent monitor, however recently it has started to flicker very badly at random times and makes watching films almost impossible. Gonna have to RMA it to ebuyer I think.

Since this has no HDMI connection I am guessing there is no way to get a HD signal from a PS3 to this, please correct me if I am wrong.

I'm no expert, but one of the inputs is composite, and the PS3 has this an output right?

Composite is just the 3 cable SD signal as far as I am aware, which while the PS3 does support is not HD.
#15
composite is one yellow
component is three cables analog HD.

this has VGA and DVI, meaning you could run HDMI to it via DVI and adapter
not sure its a good choice for games though.

Just use a DVI to HDMI adaptor. Remember this has no speakers so you will need a separate hi-fi or set of speakers for audio.

you could get hdmi to dvi but you may have a problem with sound
but ive had this monitor for well over a year totally impressed with it

Got one of these from Ebuyer on Monday for £118, recieved it yesterday and it's absolutely amazing.

Any questions about it, feel free to PM me!
#21
Does anybody know if i could hook up a freeview box to this?
#22
If you got one with component or HDMI (with an adaptor) out, then sure.
#23
I have just received mine and what a disappointment!
The product is not new!
Fingerprints all over the screen and all the bags inside the box opened.
Will be returning for refund, has anyone any experience of Amazon refunds good/bad??

I have a 2.0GHz Intel MacMini running Windows XP but I'm not 100% sure this computer supports the native resolution (1680x1050) for this monitor as I've never seen it on the list of resolutions when I had a 19inch CRT monitor connected to it.

I believe the graphics card in the MacMini is an Intel 945 Express - does anyone know if it will display at exactly 1680x1050 ?

Also is this size screen size and resolution wide enough and detailed enough to read two sheets of A4 Paper at least width ways at 100% zoom using something like Word?, I don't mind scrolling up and down to read two sheets of A4 onscreen but don't also want to have to slide left and right.

ATM I have a 17 inch SyncMaster 723N which runs at 1280 by 1024 and you can read a Single A4 sheet in Landscape at 100% perfectly.
#28
have a look at the reviews on Amazon as one of them says 2 A4 side by side is ok. In fact I think I might buy one now! Possibly time to crunch some more credit then...

the ps3 does have component hd output which allows HD up to 1080i which is all this monitor is capable of anyway so it will not matter for PS3 the lack of HDMI.
