Not a great price in my opinion - the Daewoo 22" which uses a Samsung panel was available from Scan for ~£190 - same sort of spec, DVI, 5ms. I think anyone considering this would be better off spending £20-30 for a 22" monitor!

You may be better off spending £20-£30 for an extra 2 inches in screen estate but the majority of 22" Monitors still have the same 1680x1050 resolution. A 22" monitor must have 1920x1200 to make it really worthwhile.

Also, even though the Daewoo may be a Samsung Panel, they have come under criticism lately for falling standards in their panel manufacturing. A lot of gamers/modders have found that their Samsung Monitors & Panels are not even made by Samsung, and have been outsourced to third party manufacturers that some have never heard of.

Always best to check the model numbers on the net if you buy one, especially if you expect a S-IPS panel and get a IPS instead.

Are there any 22" with a resolution of 1920x1200? didn't think there were.
I have recently bought a Samsung 206BW 20" for £199, superb quality display, and it's the 'A' panel I have, not the Samsung. I can't fault it one bit though, no dead/stuck pixels, amazing picture quality and colour from it. Glad i got it

Cheapest place I found if anyone interested was oyyy.co.uk £199 plus delivery.

And this was from another forum regarding the panels used:

I'd like to set the whole A-panel VS S-panel thing to rest, if that's possible after all the hype. I bought two of these panels at the same time, one is an "A", the other "S". They are visibly identical and I would not be able to tell them apart except for the serial number on the rear. After some studious testing, I could not perceive any difference whatsoever between the display quality of one over the other. I believe a previous reviewer's observation that the only difference is the place of manufacture to be correct. In other words, don't worry if it's an "A" panel or an "S" panel.

I would be very surprised if the Samsung panel was any better than the 'A' panel I have....

Oh, and it's HDCP compliant, needed if you want to watch Blu-Ray or HD DVD on it at some point.
