Unfortunately no Freeview Tuner.

Probably why it is on offer.
It's not a tv it's a pc monitor. At least I thought it was??!
just in case anyone is thinking of getting this, I got one of these on Friday but returned it on Saturday for a couple of reasons.

There is quite a lot of backlight bleed & the Standard Definition picture wasn't great (I tried regular Xbox on it). However, it looked brilliant as a PC monitor and i'd imagine would be perfect for Xbox 360 or PS3 in hi-res.

The backlight bleed is only really noticable when watching a dark movie or game however. The casing on the monitor is glossy black and looks great. There are no buttons sticking out on the front, rather they are touch sensitive on the front.
I take my last comment back. Just checked
Considering the other Sumsung monitors a £200+ why not splash out a bit more and get one thats got a TV tuner and is HD Ready.

The HDMI port is an added bonus :)
I think Argos may have reduced the price because of a lot of returns - my parents also returned one, although I would've happily had it for myself, I might get one at this price!

It's more of a monitor than a TV, but they wanted it as a TV, not a monitor, whereas I want it the other way round, so might have to get one now it's cheaper. Although I'm pretty sure they didn't pay £400...
yes, I'd also steer clear. represents bad value for money c/f with larger models with digi-receiver.
I bought this TV/monitor yesterday, but I am going to return it to Argos due to the problems highlighted above (in TV mode) despite the fact that as a monitor it works great...
Has anyone got the LG 22" from that they can recommend ? (it's £249.99 delivered too) here :
I have this as a TV and it is perfect for watching in the bedroom.

I have had no issues with it.
Hanspree FTW! :p

I have this television and it is brilliant. I use it with my Samsung HT-X 30, Freeview and as a monitor for my new PC. Excellent value. Oh and it was £229 when I got it off Play, which was a few months ago.
