Great price for this. Good Brand and specs.

TN panels are coming down in price now the PVA panels are becoming mainstream.

The main benefit of PVA panels being their increased viewing angles vertically and horizontally.

Here's an example for checking the specs of a PVA on a lesser known brand:
Great monitor for the money!
Agreed, using one of these as we speak, best monitor i've ever had.
If the Overclockers one uses a PVA panel then it'll definately be a much better buy than the Samsung one featured here. If I had a spare £270 lying around, I know which one I'd buy!
would i be able to hook up an xbox 360 to this by using a VGA cable?

Yes it will.

On the Overclockers PVA panel....

They were doing it for £200 originally, until the A-holes found it was a PVA panl!!!! then upped the price!!!

Sods....typical of ocuk tho ;)
does this TFT monitor support HDCP?
does this TFT monitor support HDCP?

Yes it does HDCP
seems like real good value this!
great deal.

BTW never buy from overclockers - their after sales has a special place in UK history as possibly the worst i've ever experienced. You're fine using 'em as long as nothing ever (ever) need returning. Then..
Though I posted this deal, I have a few questions for anyone who owns this monitor.
1. Does the monitor have a High Gloss Black finish? -Samsung website mentions both High Gloss Black/ Silver and Black/Silver for the same model under tech specs.:?

2. Would my 512MB X1950 Pro be able to handle 1900x1200 in games like Counter Strike Source, Crysis, Call Of Duty 4 all at medium graphics at least.

Just to clarify, my example wasn't a recommendation to buy from overclockers, just to compare the specs.
