I assume this includes the sub?

I can't understand the appeal of these things aside from space saving, can anyone enlighten me?

If you want better, deeper, wider sound than most flat screens can output. It will make a day and night difference.

Could i hook my iphone up to this

The HW-F355 has Bluetooth. If it was 355 at this price I would have bought it in a heart beat.

Is this designed to be mounted to the bottom of Samsung TVs? My screen is on an arm and gets angled out to be visible in the room - not much point if the sound doesn't too...
#10
40inch? Ah, it might be too big for my tv cabinet. Grr
#11
HOT although compton and moore has it for £79.00 ( inc delivery )
#12
sorry but how do you get 3D sound. I thought 3D was vision. width/height/depth. ??
is this just another selling technique.
good price for a Samsung soundbar/sub-woofer. but prefer proper 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound

I have the 355 and they make a massive difference.
The change to sound with the sub alone is superb.
This is a great price for the 350.

How good is this to watch blu ray films,is the sub good at handling effects, explosions etc...
#15
Paid £120 for mine 6 months ago and it's worth that so this is a bargain

Depends where you have your TV. Most living rooms don't really have the space or alignment for a proper 5.1/7.1 set up. Unless you only have one sofa right in front of your TV and everyone can sit on it at the same time. I don't think these are anywhere near as good as marketing and advertising would lead one to believe, but they're certainly better than built in speakers on your typical flat screen.

I have this. Got it from Richer Sounds a year ago for £129. Couldn't live without it now. Fantastic sound compared to the TV speakers.

Just ordered for my Samsung telly.

Few questions if someone can please answer some...

Do I need to buy an optical cable?
And will any optical cable be OK...even poundland one's!?

Should I connect system through telly or the ps4?

Thanks

I bought one of these last year and very happy with it.

I run an optical cable from the back of my Samsung (4 year old model) TV to it, it switches on with the TV and plays sound from anything connected to the TV from all HDMI and other sources. Cheap ebay cable so a Poundland one should work OK too.

how does it handle blu ray playback, is the sub good
#21
I suspect this is 60W RMS and 120W PMPO. You can get 100W RMS Sub for about the same money if you didn't want the centre speaker. Not sure how the quality compares as I'm not an audiophile. I got a Tannoy SFX last year which is pretty awesome.

Can it be used with PC...?

Is there a big difference between this one and the 355? Apart from bluetooth, is it worth the extra cash?

will the inbuilt speakers in the TV still work at same time

This bar will contain tiny little speakers which face in all directions, the soundwaves then bounce off surrounding walls (not windows) and surround you with sound from all around, can be quite effective I've heard.

Does anyone know if this will work with a 5 year old Sony Bravia TV?
Thanks in advance.

The 355 is £99.00 on Amazon at the moment, lowest price so far according to CCC.

Just bought one myself in fact!

My bad, please ignore!

I got the 355 'free' with my TV a few months ago and I don't even use the bluetooth as it doesn't seem to be in sync and you can't adjust the audio output when bluetooth is selected. I use an optical cable instead(fully adjustable audio sync) and in my relatively compact loft room the sound is perfect, loud and reverberating.
I cannot get enough of the bass heavy Guardians of The Galaxy blu ray audio track, if this is their budget speakers then I'd really like to hear the premium end.
£80 isn't much to totally change your movie experience.
