‎3 x 3 inch in size
170grams in weight
up to 80" screen diagonal
30,000 hours LED life (light source)
Plays movies from micro SD
and you can hook up to a computer
Mount it on a tripod
2 hours battery life or run from mains
30 lumens output (needs a dark room for larger screen size)
854x480 resolution - not HD but not bad for £210!

I will be using this to watch movies and iplayer etc in massive dimensions!

Play.com are one of the cheapest to buy from, i think pixmania are cheaper but im not a big fan of them.

Look forward to hearing how bright it is. I like the idea of these little projectors but worried about how dark the area needs to be.

Yeah its only 30 lumens but i'm fine with using it in the dark. I watch all movies in the dark anyway.
I have quite a small room (only 2m wide) should get a 60inch prejection at this distance.

80" at 854x480? that's gotta be painful!

Sure its not HD quality but it all depends on what you are using it for. I think that resolution is adequate for dvds, tv, youtube video, mp4s etc

Thank you for posting this - heat added - didn't realise these had got to the stage of being Samsung-ised! Might order one from Pixmania-Pro - they're a pain (when things go wrong) and are part of DSG, but still, it's not as if Play's terms and conditions are much better, being outside of UK/EU jurisdiction.

I think these are perfect for a business presentation on the move, i.e. light, cheap etc but the quality of a real 1080p projector for around twice the price are in a different world.

these are naff.
need a really dark room and the picture quality would be really bad
do the maff 80" diagonal would be close to 2m wide
and you have 854 pixel's across
thats a pixel thickness of nearly 2.5mm radius

which means you will have to blur the focus a lot

For several years I've been happily watching DVD's at this resolution on regular DLP type projectors at 72-84" - it's as good as cinema quality as far as I can see, no complaints about the size of pixels, though you can see them if you want to sit two feet from the screen, but not if you sit at a sensible distance.

Just got this today - it's the dogs danglies! Absolutely tiny, excellent image quality, decent sound for its size, etc. etc. Recommended! Thank you again for posting about this mini AV marvel.

true, you do need a dark room but the picture is nice when you do!

I have had no problems with pixels.
