I think second cheapest is at Dixons @ £135

The award winning ultra slim ST50, with "Smart Auto" advanced scene recognition, also has in-camera digital contents management. So is not just pretty - it's pretty clever.

The ST50 is highlighted by Samsung's new Smart Auto feature, which takes ease-of-use to a new level, underscoring what it truly means to be a point-and-shoot digital camera. When engaged, Smart Auto will automatically select one of the ST50's 11 scene modes which best suits the environment the user may be shooting in. For example, the ST50's Smart Auto feature will automatically set the camera to its Landscape scene mode if the user is taking an image of a mountain range, and then switch gears and automatically select the Portrait scene mode if the user proceeds to take an image of an individual. No manual interaction is required.

In addition to Smart Auto, the ST50 also incorporates Samsung's proprietary Smart Album program. Smart Album is useful tool which allows users to search through the various files they have saved on their memory card for a specific image. Smart Album automatically organizes the user's digital images and gives them the ability to narrow their search based on the date or month the image was taken, the file type, whether it's a photo, video, or voice memo, and the overall color tone.

exactly, I like this deal!! Heat added
OK deal but you can get a lot for £120 these days. My advice would be to look at Panasonic first - fabulous cameras.

Can't comment on this particular camera as I haven't tried it but Samsung cameras in general get rather mixed reviews. Many of them are not very intuitive to use either (hated one I had a couple of years ago for this reason - constantly getting lost in confusing menus).

May be worth considering if it was half the price but when you can get some really great kit for £120 why take the risk?
This camera is rubbish. I bought it months back to replace my old 4MP FujiFilm camera, I wish I hadn't bothered.

A bit more explanation might help someone. What's wrong with it?

It looks great. Its very slim and the large screen on it is fantastic.

Basically, the pictures were only slightly better than my old 4MP FujiFilm camera (which is now about 4 years old, and even that was a budget cam/nothing special). I was expecting so much more. I was disappointed by the quality of the pictures, they seem grainy to me.

The USB cable is annoying too, because the socket is behind a rubber 'flap' that gets in the way and eventually it will break - I think I will buy a card reader and eject my SD memory card to get pic's off it, it'll be easier that way. The batteries are not standard AA batteries, so if your planning a trip somewhere then you will have to buy extra Samsung batteries that aren't cheap. It would be nice if a charging dock would have been included in the box too.

I now only use it to take photo's of things I put on eBay. For that it does the job.
I bought this camera last year, and a friend had a cheap 7 mega pixel camera and the picture are three time better than mine, I've even put the setting to super fine. Basicly it can not take picture in the evenings! I would give it 1 out of 10, as is cost £125 and Jessops recommended to me as the lastest camera with smart features, it has plenty of them but can't take a decent picture and the smart function and add very bad light flash lighting!!! Jessops also said I get 50 free pics but when I we to get them done they said no!!! I would never go to Jessops for a Camera!!..
