As its CDiscount the deal is different to the one posted 3 weeks ago. The set is down in price by a couple of quid and they have different offers available such as:

15% Account credit on purchases over £100
Free Postage
5% Voucher code (This weekend only)
don't forget the 4.5% Quidco.

OP, the title could do with being adjusted as there is no 10% off!!

The Samsung is just is £2 cheaper, and has a weird resolution and less sockets.

Does anyone know using a USB 2 device what format films can you watch e.g. DivX, AVI, MPGs. Also could you play musics and view pictures?

So why would you want a 1080P resolution on a 22" screen? Overkill I think somehow! It's only cheaper using cdiscount also not using ebuyer which was my point!

Might be useful to look at reviews on both before deciding to buy!

1080p means regular telly will map directly at 1:4 and PS3 will map at 1:1.

1050 lines is eventually going to prove annoying, with the non-integer pixel map requiring graphics-processing scaling or lost lines at the top and bottom of the picture when looking at the Freeview.

eBuyer is £199 free delivery. Click through to the link, the price is £199 at eBuyer.

Not to mention all the extra sockets on the LG again.

Edit: I know this because I have a Samsung 1050 line telly in my kitchen, I use it as a secondary display form the living room while I cook, and the non-video resolution causes lost lines around the outside of my picture, and I will be looking at getting a 1080 device. So I do know the 1050 lines is sub-optimal for TV use.
