I was in the market for a new monitor that could be used as a TV or computer monitor. I came across this and ordered it.

More info on Samsung page:

Note: I have read reviews that this monitor comes with a European power cable (not a 3-pin UK one) and therefore you will need to use your own travel adapter. Or you can buy a new cable for a quid or two. Maybe that is why this monitor is selling cheap due to customer feedbacks.

Other than that, this monitor looks great in spec.

Badzed thanks for your reply but If i was to spend over £150 I would need at least a 23" and ideally a 24" one

Won't find a Samsung 23 inch that cheap with good features. Maybe try other brands.

I ended up buying this when I posted the deal. The monitor did come with the correct power cable so I purchased separate one for nothing, although it was only a quid or so.

I have been using this monitor for the past month or so and haven't noticed any major problems. There are minor preferences I would have liked, such as physical buttons on the monitor to power on/off, adjust brightness/contrast etc. The buttons are all touch screen and a bit difficult to find when the lights are out. The border around the monitor is a bit too shiny and reflects light if there is a window behind the viewer, which can distract what you are watching... although I have gotten used to it. It's just something different from my previous monitor I was used to.

There is a similar distraction I noticed at the edge of the LCD screen and the border. The LCD is 0.5cm into the monitor border. And since the border is relfective, you can see the LCD's reflection on this 0.5cm part that goes into the border. My previous monito was flat all around...

But I have noticed that I do not notice these3 distractions anymore and have gotten used to them. They were only distracting because I was so used to my previous monitor.
