Great phone, Some folk have reported problems with the Tocco Lite on 02, Apparently audio sometimes cuts out during calls etc.. However their is a fix and it's not a problem on other networks.

Great reviews and 02 faults and fix can be found here http://www.mobile-phones-uk.org.uk/samsung-tocco-lite.htm
#4
Looking at the reviews you :

1. Can't add words to the predictive text (dictionary)
2. The names are listed by surname

Surely these can't be true! Can anyone confirm or deny please? Thanks.

what is the cheapest o2 handset with wifi?
#6
I have just rang my Local branch (cramlington) and they confirm the deal is on.

Starts tomorrow and £50 off the phone.
Cracking deal and perfect timing for me since my daughter wants one for her birthday next week

If you have a o2 loyalty card you will also get another £20 off the price

"to add a word tot he t9 dictionary you need to type in the word you want so like spell it out - then when its not on the list look at the words on there and scroll down to the bottom and it will say add word! there you go hope that helps!"

The £20 discount is available to employees of selected companies, these are corporate partners of O2. The discount however is not availabkle on this handset as it only applies to those that cost £78.29 and over.

2 seperate o2 shop's told me it was any payg phone

Pay & Go

The customer gets £20 off any Pay & Go phone (except the iPhone) that costs £79.99 or above. (£78.29 at 15% VAT rate)

its definetley on handsets over £78.29, I rolled out the scheme to several companies. If those branches do it for you, fair enough, but they are not meant to.
#17
Can only go by what 2 seperate shops told me, was a couple of months ago tho , was the one in Yarmouth and Lincoln so quite some distance apart.
#18
can anyone confirm if the memory card coms with this like it does in the other post? thanks
#19
no it dosent
#20
Hi,
Does anyone know if the money off for a trade in still applies to this phone if its on this offer?
Thanks
1 Like #21
It should do, yes. It was £20 trade in at full price, I imagine it will be the same at the reduced price too! Just need to take in a working phone, no matter the age, as long as its working and not pyhsically damaged (best to have the charger too). If you upgrade as well you could be in for a real bargain.
#22
Got one this morning for my daughters birthday next week.

£77.22 but because she was already on PAYG with O2 the staff checked for other offers and gave me 2 options.
Another £4.36 off the phone or to add £9.46 credit to her phone (obviously I chose this one).

So really got it for £67.76
Now she just needs it charged and move her existing sim across.
#23
Went in today and traded my old phone, got £20 off, plus £17ish credit to go on because I'm already an o2 customer, absolutly thrilled :D £57.86, bargain!
#24
so can i just get this right, i can take ANY old brick of a phone to 02 and get £20 off the special offer price and as im currently an 02 customer il get offered a little upgrade as above or some free credit ????

It looks like it doesn't it? I'm getting tempted... though I am not sure it will pair okay with my Pioneer bluetooth car headunit.
#26
does this phone really not have 3g ?i thought only the cheapest phones were 2 g these days

does it comes unlocked?
+1

I've bought this handset for my other half to use with an Asda mobile PAYG sim card. Hope it'll be OK. Anyone confirm how best to unlock if not ?
:santa:

PS. The o2 website said out of stock, will be delivered in 1-3 days of coming back in stock. Hopefully soon !
#31
I doubt it will be unlocked, when i looked at phone's the other week they were all locked as i tried my Asda sim in a tocco lite and it didnt work in the o2 shop.

If you want a unlocked phone get the Dialaphone deal, mine came unlocked and unbranded,

I got one for around £85 recently and I must say for the price it's the best phone I have ever had if you don't need things like 3G etc :)
#35

Only 2G... and it is the cheapest touch screen phone you can get isn't it?

Where else is it SO much cheaper on other networks than £77 plus the ability to get £20 trade in?
#38
I tried to get this deal this morning at my local O2 store, spent abt an hour there explaining all the discounts/trade-ins/cashbacks etc. etc. etc.
The guy said that none of the discounts mentioned in this thread apply to this phone (as its £77), on top of that u HAVE to get the £10 top-up. After much discussion & going back 'n forth, basically the cost of the phone is £87 with no trade in, no discounts, no top-up credit!
SO, power to the people who have got this for £57 or £67 or even £77.......................
#39
Voted very HOT, just got one for the wife for £57 after trade in and £7.90 extra credit, she's well chuffed. Must say the guy at O2 Team Valley (Gateshead) was very good, he also said that he had "loads in stock".
