Looks like a hot deal for the price, but have neither voted hot nor cold. Have had too many run in's with 3 and their sh1te customer service, as well as their duplicity on deals.

"refreshed" meaning second hand
#3
seems a good deal.
#4
Poor customer service from 3, best avoid

better not be one of that £3.04 deal was posted here few months back.
i had so much hassle trying to get them to honor the deal , in the end it was not worth the pain.
i ended up returning 2 handsets as they would not confirm the deal in writing..
if anyone goes for the deal make sure you have everything in B&W !!

is the network any good? I thought their coverage was poor unless you were in an urban area. Deal seems ok, but I'd not be happy signing up to them till I'd experienced their coverage.

I just took out 2 toccos for £20 they give you a sheet that clarifies your deal so

Do a coverage check before you purchase, so least you have a idea what service is going to be like. But from family experience its loads better that what it was.

3 NEVER confirm - in my experience - anything in writing/B&W. I've tried to get them to do it in three deals in the past, and then two offers (by that point I'd learned my lesson) and when they won't I'm not interested in them.

They're an 'avoid' company for me.

A coverage check wont tell you much, they are no where as accurate as they make out.

I have been with 3 since 2006 and can't really fault their coverage, i've been on the other networks and in most places 3 is the strongest out of them all.
But this again is due to your area and where you are using your phone, i've recently moved house and the signal is full outside but pretty low in the house.
But thats the materials in the house blocking outside signals, as many of us might have experienced in older buildings.

Yes they're customer service is hands down the worst you'll ever come across, I had a lot of problems in the summer when my new handset was sent to my old address, even though I had informed them months before of my new address. They wanted me to travel 200+ miles to pick it up!
After many long phone calls and arguments they backed down and I told them I wanted to cancel, doing so I even sent an email to Head office. I got a swift phone call and an offer I couldn't refuse, and my tarif in writting.

If you've never been with 3, see if you can get the phone from the shop and then try it where you live/work etc. There was a sign on the wall in my local 3 shop stating a period you could bring the phone back if coverage was bad, 10 days or so I think. If signal is bad it won't be much hassle taking it back. If you order it online you'll be opening a can of worms when you try to cancel/send the phone back.

I'm pretty sure if you take out a deal in store they do actually confirm it in writing as I did ask this instore during the summer.
But online you won't get anything, my mum took out a deal a few months ago and has nothing to prove duration or monthly cost. The only reason I got confirmation is that I demanded it on the phone or I wouldn't be taking the deal.

Does this include mobile internet?

Purchased the Virgin 18 month £18 150 mins 500 texts mobile internet & Nokia 5800.

its gotta be nationwide. loads of special offers on getting refurb phones in store, like £50 cashback.
#17
Great deal, and its nationwide..

It comes with a warranty, so should be no problem. These are returns 95% of the time, so are sometimes not even switched on!

Just had a read, and loads of people are saying the 6700 is unreliable!

This this true?
