will this be unlockable ??
#3
has it got t-mobile written all over it?
#4
If it's clearance then the chances are it won't be branded and it will most likely be unlocked... although I can't promise that, of course.

Thanks for the votes, guys. :)

easily and also easily debrandable but they come both done for u with the deal

I've had one of these for a while, very disappointed.

They look nice but the software is clearly aimed at teenagers with huge multicoloured characters on screen when you dial a number, a 'feature' which converts certain words in text messages to little animations ('taxi' becomes a little animation of a taxi driving along) and other stupid 'features'. Thankfully you can turn all of this off which makes it bearable for the over 12's. The touch sensitive buttons take ALOT of getting used to, I still find myself accidentally going back to the main menu while texting after inadvertently brushing the 'cancel' key while using the wheel thing to select a word from the T9 dictionary. Bluetooth has never worked properly and it seems to have a fairly weak internal antenna.

otherwise, great phone :D

Voted hot, although very poor battery life.

Dont forget what CarPhoneWarehouse clearance means

"By using clearance stock, we are able to offer you even greater savings.

These mobile phones are either excess stock or mail order returns.

These prodcts might have a slight cosmetic flaws.

Each one has been inspected and comes with a full years manufacturers warranty.
If a clearance handset is out of stock, we cannot guarantee when it will next be avaliable. If you place an order for an out of stock clearance deal we will endeavour to fulfill your order, however this may be subject to a delay.
Please note that inspected products are repackaged when tested and do not come in original box. We can only guarantee that the handset, battery manual and charger will all be included. "

As taken from their website.

After the nightmare E900, I think I'll give this one a miss. Still voted hot.

My daughter has one of these and IMO its not as good as the V3i she had previously, the battery life is appalling, not great when you want the reassurance she will be able to call home in an emergency.

But this is an amazing price for it, we paid twice that for it last October.

Hot but not as hot as Orange did a couple of months ago for 50 quid, along with another samsung phone

Just hope that when you get it you don't get any faults, etc. I got a clearance phone from CPW, and when the firmware went dodgy on it I took it back hoping they could simply reset/re-flash it. But no, dead phone and they wouldn't replace like for like. So instead of having another phone with camera, bluetooth etc I had a £40 refund...which in early 2006, meant Nokia 2310 money :/

Well worth a punt tho :)

If it's from the CPW then it's probably a generic phone - ie. no nasty logos and probably unlocked too! :-)

i work for vodafone, we do the U series phones including this and the u700, i wouldnt touch them, the touch button interface is **** in my informed opinion and it is prone to breaking.

save your money ladies and gents for another offer.

Good deals really! Price drops dramatically for U600....... lol

I've had this phone for nearly a year and had no problems with it and have good battery life. The touch buttons do take some getting used to but once you do it's fine.

I also got my phone from CPW clearance and it came unlocked with no branding.

You must have got a dodgy phone as I have had this phone for about 14 months never had animation in the texts, bluetooth works great & the pix are top quality. I'm considering buying this one again.
