Can anyone give me some advice about this, please? I need to get a replacement for my current mobile and this seems like a good deal. I’m currently on PAYG with Orange and I’m happy enough with that. I need to replace my phone because it is very old and, recently, the battery has become unreliable. My main concern is keeping my old phone number.

Please excuse my ignorance: I freely admit I know very little about mobile phones. Can anyone tell me, if I bought this Samsung phone would I be able to just take the SIM out of my old phone, put it in this one and then carry on as normal? Are there any other complications/problems that I haven’t even considered?

Thanks.

I suppose it depends how old your sim is. All I did, after I bought a new phone which came with a new sim credited with £10, was to phone Orange CS up and asked them to transfer my old number including the £20 credit onto the new sim, took about 10 mins to complete, so I ended up with an up to date sim with £30 credit. :)

Carpest phone of all time in my opinion. I have to phone orange today to tell them that this pile of poo I have to use is broken. The fast text is appalling as is the touch screen. It feels flimsy and wobbly as if its about to fall apart. Battery lasts for 2 days if I dont use it and the phone is less than a year old with minimal use.
